Device for carrying and transporting a baby
An example baby carrier includes an enclosure, a seat configured to receive a baby, a back frame, and a first support frame. The first support frame includes an extendable arm having a handle, a first hinged leg, and a first wheel mounted to the first leg. The baby carrier is configured to reversibly transition between at least a stowed mode, a stroller mode, and a carrier mode.
CHILD CARRYING DEVICE
A child carrying device for carrying a child over a user's shoulders, comprising: a foldable support frame, a child seat support for seating the child into the carrying device, a user back harness for strapping the user onto the user's shoulders and torso, detachably affixed to the support frame by a load lifter mechanism, and a user hipbelt for transferring a portion of the carried weight or the child's weight onto the user's hip or waist which further comprises an attachment mechanism for providing adjustable adjoining location to allow the support frame to rest on or attach to, wherein the carrying device is configured to distribute the carried child's weight onto the user's shoulders and torso and the user's hip or waist.
HANDLE ADJUSTING MECHANISM AND CHILD CARRIER
A handle adjusting mechanism for adjusting a handle relative to a carrier body pivotally connected to the handle, includes a locking component slidably disposed at a pivotal connection of the handle and the carrier body. The locking component includes a first locking portion and a second locking portion. The first locking portion is for engaging with the handle. The second locking portion is for engaging with the carrier body. The handle is restrained from pivoting relative to the carrier body when the locking component slides to an engaging position to engage the first locking portion with the handle and to engage the second locking portion with the carrier body. The handle is allowed to pivot relative to the carrier body when the locking component slides to a disengaging position to disengage the first locking portion from the handle and to disengage the second locking portion from the carrier body.
Ergonomic infant safety seat
Infant car seats with improved handles and other features are described. An infant car seat and associated handle may collectively include multiple supports, including a lower support configured to engage a hand of a user and an upper support configured to engage an arm of the user. Examples of lower supports include an opening in a seat shell, a tubular member, or a hinged handle. Examples of upper support mays include a semicircular portion or a loop included in the handle and configured to at least partially encircle or otherwise engage an arm of the user. These and other features may increase the ease and comfort with which the user may carry the infant car seat.
AIR FILTERING COVER ENGAGEABLE WITH INFANT CARRIER
An air filtering cover is adapted to engage with an infant carrier to filter air communicated into an interior cavity thereof. A cover body having two sidewalls and a filter element form a flowpath for air communicating through the body and filter to remove dirt, dust, and pathogens from air reaching the occupant of the interior cavity. The filter may be replaceable within a pocket formed in the cover body. A gauge strip may be positioned on the filter which changes in appearance when the filter needs replacement.
Back Suspender Apparatus with Suspension Arrangement
A back suspender apparatus includes a back carrier for carrying at least an object thereat and a suspension arrangement. The suspension arrangement includes a back support coupled to the back carrier, and a carrying system which includes two shoulder straps extended from the back support and two resilient straps provided at the shoulder straps respectively for absorbing a bounding force of the back carrier so as to minimize a relative movement of the back carrier with respect to each of the shoulder straps.
FOLDABLE CARRY COT WITH CUSHION
A foldable infant carry cot including at least one cushion disposed on an interior side of the carry cot, the at least one cushion including a plurality of removably attachable fasteners for attaching the at least one cushion to a side wall of the carry cot; and a foldable frame allowing the carry cot to fold and collapse. The at least one cushion includes a shock-absorbing component that absorbs impact coming from any of the sides of the carry cot. The foldable frame comprises an upper frame, a lower frame, a flexible sidewall disposed between the upper frame and the lower frame, a rotating carrying handle, and a plurality of hinges disposed between the upper frame and the lower frame.
BASSINET
The invention may telescopically connect the first support member and the second support member together or pivotally connect the first support member to the pivot hub on the bassinet, such that the bassinet can be adjusted to various heights for a given situation. Furthermore, the bassinet may be adjusted to a desired height and then placed in a play yard without requiring additional components. Since the bassinet of the invention can be used alone and can also be used with the play yard, the bassinet of the invention is more flexible in use than a conventional bassinet.
Weight support systems
A diaper-changing platform system is disclosed having a structural frame supporting member that receives a platform member. The platform member is configured with interlocking sections configured such that at least one interlocking section can be positioned to project from the platform member to enable an infant or toddler to sit on the interlocking section and is also configured to be positioned such that the platform member defines a generally flat surface enabling an infant or toddler to be positioned lying on the generally flat surface. A stroller for transporting an infant or toddler includes a frame and the diaper-changing platform system. The frame of the stroller receives the diaper-changing platform system when the platform member enables an infant or toddler to sit on at least one interlocking section to enable transporting via the stroller the diaper-changing platform system. A weight supporting system including usage of supporting ribs and exoskeletons is included.
CARRY HANDLE FOR CHILD CARRIER
A carrying device includes an object to be carried and a handle for the object. The object may be an infant seat.
