The child car seat simulates the motions and sounds of a car seat being driven over a road in order to comfort and soothe an infant and to induce the infant to sleep. An infant may be placed on padding attached to the top interior of the seat body and restrained by a left blanket half and a right blanket half. A motion mechanism located in the base of the seat body may cause movement of the child care seat that resembles the movement that a car seat would experience in a moving vehicle. One or more speakers located within the shell of the seat body may play an audio program to simulate vehicular and traffic noises. The intensity and type of movement and the volume and specific audio program may be selected from controls located on the upper rear of the seat body.

The convertible rocker comprises a support section that has a concave portion for receiving a child, a frame assembly coupled to the support section, and an auto-rocking mechanism coupled to the frame assembly. The auto-rocking mechanism is configured to be operable while the convertible rocker is in the infant sleeper configuration and inoperable while the convertible rocker is in the toddler seat configuration.

In such state, the support member has both end portions fitted to the depressed portions on the frames.

The reclining mechanism comprises a locking mechanism for locking the middle bar in at least one of the grooves. The reclining mechanism comprises a portion fixed between two cross bars.

In other example embodiments, juvenile products such as music players are controlled to output signals to play songs via speakers with an adaptive tempo that is synchronized to rhythmic inputs such as an infant's respiratory rate.

Apparatus and method for an adjustable mode child rocker and swing

An adjustable mode child rocker can be adjusted to provide a number of different swinging/rocking motions to a child positioned within the rocker. The child rocker can include a seat assembly that can include a seat upon which a child can sit. The child rocker can also include a trolley assembly that is directly or indirectly attached to the seat assembly and can include multiple wheels near the bottom of the trolley assembly. The child rocker can also include at least one stationary track and at least one adjustable track for the wheels to move along to provide the different rocking/swinging motions to the seat assembly. The adjustable track(s) is adjustable from at least a first position to a second position to change the distance between the troughs of the respective stationary and adjustable tracks along a longitudinal axis of the child rocker and thereby changing the rocking/swinging motion.
