Access optimized child support device
A child support device including a folding frame having front legs and rear legs, and a hub pivotally coupling upper ends of the front and rear legs to move between a folded configuration and an unfolded configuration. The hub includes a first coupling element. The device further includes a support component having a second coupling element releasably engageable with the first coupling element, for detachably mounting the support component to the frame. The support component is optionally a dual-mode support, usable in a first mode of use mounted to the frame, and in a second mode of use independent of the frame.
MULTI-POSITION CHILDREN'S SUPPORT SYSTEM
A multi-position support system for supporting a child, the system including a base, a child support assembly supported by the base, and a positional adjustment mechanism allowing a user to selectively position the child support assembly in one of a plurality of activity positions.
CHILDREN'S MOTION DEVICE
A children's motion device such as a bouncer or jumper, including a base, a child-supporting portion, and at least one non-metal resilient biasing element operatively engaged between the base and the child-supporting portion to allow motion of the child-supporting portion relative to the base. In example forms, the resilient biasing element is formed from a polymeric polyester elastomer material.
PORTABLE ACTIVITY CENTER
A portable activity center for use by a young child comprising a frame supported at a predetermined height above the ground by a plurality of rotatable or foldable legs. A tray is coupled to the frame and includes an opening and a seat support surrounding the opening and a seat is positioned within the opening and is securely attached to the seat support. A resilient suspension system operates to permit the seat and seat support to move in vertical reciprocating movement to allow the child to bounce. A cover interchangeable with the seat and positioned within the opening operates to convert the activity center into a table structure.
Infant soothing device and method for soothing an infant
A novel and improved device to assuage distressed infants by means of adjustable vertical motion combined with adjustable orientation. The motion is adjustable in terms of amplitude, frequency and time. The device allows the infants to be held face-inward or face-outward in the case of vertical orientation and prone or supine in the case of horizontal orientation.
Supporting apparatus
The disclosed embodiments of the invention relate to a supporting apparatus and methods of using it. The supporting apparatus may include a frame member including an outer periphery and an inner periphery. The supporting apparatus may further include a first leg assembly and a second leg assembly, each configurable between a closed position and an open position. The supporting apparatus may further include a suspender that may be fastened to the frame member through a plurality of straps. The suspender may include a central member that may be positioned in a region enclosed by the inner periphery of the frame member.
MOBILE CHILD SUPPORT DEVICE
A mobile child support and entertainment device includes a base panel having roller elements for rolling support along a support surface, an upper support body having a seat positioned generally centrally therein for receiving a child, and at least one support leg extending between the base panel and the upper support body. The device allows a caregiver to move the child in the device from location to location, and provides entertainment and activity for the child. Embodiments of the device are configured for ease of maneuverability and access.
COMPACT JUMPER
A compact jumper for an infant or young child. The compact jumper includes a support frame, at least one resilient member, and a child-receiving apparatus. The support frame is configured for resting on a support surface and the at least one resilient member is coupled to a portion of the support frame. The child-receiving apparatus is supported by the at least one resilient member, with a collar mounting the resilient member to the child-receiving apparatus, and is guided by a portion of the support frame. The child-receiving apparatus is movable with respect to the support surface as the child moves and jumps.
Bouncer or bouncing cradle and a frame for such
The invention concerns a bouncer comprising a base frame and a seat frame. In a use position the seat frame is inclined relative to the base frame. The baby bouncer further comprises a support device movably connecting the seat frame to the base frame. The support device is attached to the seat frame at one or ore respective first connection portions, and to the base frame, such that the inclination alternately increases and decreases during operation of the bouncer, and such that when the inclination of the seat frame decreases, the one or more first connection portions are moved forward relative to base frame, and vice versa.
Electric Baby Bouncer
An electric baby bouncer includes a base and a cradle frame. An X-axis moving plate for performing a horizontal linear reciprocating motion and an X-axis driving mechanism for driving the X-axis moving plate to move are provided in the base. A Z-axis moving plate for performing a vertical linear reciprocating motion is provided above the X-axis moving plate. A Z-axis driving mechanism for driving the Z-axis moving plate to move is provided on the X-axis moving plate. A bottom part of the cradle frame is connected to the Z-axis moving plate. The Z-axis moving plate is configured to extend out of a top part of the base. The X-axis driving mechanism drives the X-axis moving plate to perform the horizontal reciprocating motion, and the Z-axis driving mechanism drives the Z-axis moving plate to perform the vertical reciprocating motion. The Z-axis driving mechanism is located on the X-axis moving plate.
