BULK DISPENSER

A gravity-feed dispenser for storage and dispensing of bulk material includes a compartment. A gate separates the compartment from a spout. The gate is operable to open and close to selectively permit bulk material to pass from the compartment into the spout. An actuator is movable relative to the spout and mechanically connected to the gate such that movement of the actuator operates the gate to reversibly open and close. Movement of the actuator concurrently reversibly positions the actuator to a dispensing position below a dispensing end of the spout, wherein dispensed bulk material passes through the spout and the actuator.

DEVICE FOR DISPENSING BULK PRODUCTS

A device for dispensing a bulk product such as cereals or condiments, including at the top a threaded nozzle for securing to the neck of a container and at the bottom a dispensing opening. A rotary shutter is provided, including a first portion provided with an actuating handle movable relative to a second portion, these two portions comprising respective walls and openings overlapping in a proportion that is dependent on the position of the handle.

The disclosure relates to integrated systems for dispensing, weighing, identifying, processing, and/or printing tag identifiers for items (e.g., bulk food items). In one embodiment, a storage system includes one or more storage bins configured to store one or more bulk foods. The storage system further includes a kiosk. The storage system further includes a sensor attached to or positioned adjacent to each storage bin of the one or more storage bins. Each sensor is configured to monitor a movement of a respective storage bin. Additionally, each sensor is configured to transmit a notification or signal to the kiosk identifying the movement of the respective storage bin. Further, the kiosk is configured to receive the notification or signal from the sensor and automatically print a label identifying a bulk food stored in the respective storage bin.

EXPANDABLE GRAVITY-FEED BIN

A gravity-feed bin includes a generally hollow main bin having an open end, a storage reservoir and a dispensing chute. The dispensing chute has an opening disposed near a distal end. The bin includes a dispensing gate movable between open and closed positions. When the dispensing gate is in the closed position, the dispensing gate blocks the opening of the dispensing chute. One or more fins contact interior and/or exterior surfaces of the gate to provide cleaning functionality of the gate and/or sealing functionality between the gate and the dispensing chute.
