Semi-Automated Beverage Dispensing Machines and Methods
Food product dispensing machines and methods for dispensing food product into a cup. The food product dispensing machine includes a cup holder having a target element, a sensor that senses the target element, and a controller. The cup holder is configured to hold a cup such that the cup prevents the sensor from sensing at least a portion of the target element. The controller determines whether a cup is present in the cup holder and/or a size of the cup based on a remaining portion of the target element that is sensed by the sensor when the cup is held by the cup holder. Drive mechanisms are configured to move the first and second cup holders along first and second radial paths, respectively, with respect to the common dispensing position. An indicator is configured to indicate a remaining number of cup dispenses to the user.
Modular apparatus and system for accommodating and dispensing cans and a method for forming the same
An apparatus and system for dispensing large amounts of cylindrical food containers or cans. The apparatus includes at least two support frames joined together through a series of connector pieces. Additional support frames may be added to the apparatus to create a modular system of dispensers that are customizable according to user discretion. The apparatus and system may be disposed directly on the traverses of a shelving unit so that large number of can dispensers may be accommodated within a relatively small volume or storage space. Each can dispenser may accommodate multiple cans which are orientated so that as each can is removed from the dispenser, a subsequent can will roll forward and take its place.

STORAGE SYSTEM AND METHOD
A storage system 1 for storing items 20, the storage system comprising: a frame 10 having a plurality of columns 11 spaced apart, each column comprising a track (12, FIG. 3) extending at least partially in a vertical direction, the tracks of adjacent columns together defining a slot for slidably receiving a plurality of items, wherein the frame is configured to retain the items such that a first item at least partially bears the weight of a second item. Also described are a method (40, FIG. 4) for assembling the storage system and a method (50, FIG. 5) of exchanging items.
KIT FOR STORING AND MAINTAINING A DISPOSABLE RAZOR AND RELATED METHOD OF MAINTAINING SAME
A kit for storing and maintaining a disposable razor having at least one blade includes a housing having at least one compartment for holding the disposable razor and a strop. The strop includes a length of woven textile attached around at least a portion of a periphery thereof to a backing, and an intermediate layer attached to the backing. The housing includes upper and lower surfaces. At least a portion of the upper surface defines a first plane and the lower surface defines a second plane such that the first plane is angled relative the second plane. The woven textile may be a woven cotton textile such as a denim material. A related method includes the steps of cleaning the at least one blade, sharpening the at least one blade utilizing a length of woven textile attached around a periphery thereof to a backing, and an intermediate layer attached to the backing, coating the at least one blade, and storing the disposable razor in the housing.
