Merchandise inventory data collection for shelf systems using light sensors
11222306 · 2022-01-11 ·

Disclosed is a system for real-time measurement of inventory on shelves. The system uses light sensors placed in association with the inventory and the shelves to measure in real-time the removal/replacement of inventory from the shelves. When inventory is on the shelves, less light reaches the light sensors. As inventory is removed from shelves, the light sensors receive more light. The difference in light received generates as signal that can be measured, thereby allowing for determining inventory levels on each shelf. The system may be retro-fitted to existing shelving systems, thereby avoiding the cost of purchasing new shelving systems. The system can work on any shelving system, including gravity-feed roller shelf (GRS), flat shelves, and spring loaded pusher shelves, and is unaffected by usual temperatures found in retail establishments and can thus work in both refrigerated and unrefrigerated systems. Also disclosed are related methods.

DISPLAY TRAY WITH MODULAR STRUCTURE
20220000281 · 2022-01-06 · ·

The invention relates to display equipment and is directed toward providing greater variety in terms of converting a tray. The present tray comprises a base consisting of a flat rectangular bottom delimited by a front wall and a rear wall, which arc disposed perpendicular to the upper surface of the bottom, and legs disposed on the lower surface of the bottom, close to the back wall of the base, and further comprises removable vertical side walls. The legs are configured in the form of hollow parallelepipeds, the bottoms of the legs are cut away at an acute angle to the longitudinal axes of the parallelepipeds, causing the base to be inclined, the top of the rear wall of the base is provided with two triangular protuberances, the distance between which coincides with the distance between the inner surfaces of the cavities of the legs, the rear sides of the triangular protuberances are parallel to the axes of the legs, and the left and right edges of the base of the tray are provided with fastening elements. The legs of a tray and the top of the rear wall of a base equipped with triangular protuberances are provided with elements for the mutual fastening thereof.

ANTI-SWEEPING HOOK WITH INTEGRATED LOSS PREVENTION FUNCTIONALITY

An anti-sweeping hook that includes a display hook for storing retail merchandise. The display hook is substantially straight and having a first end and a second end opposite the first end. A helical coil is disposed about the display hook and extending along a lengthwise portion of the display hook. The helical coil has a first coil end proximate the first end of the display hook. Rotation of the helical coil in a first direction loads the retail merchandise onto the display hook. Rotation of the helical coil in a second direction opposite the first direction removes the retail merchandise from the display hook. A rotating handle is attached to the first end of the display hook and to the first coil end. The rotating handle is configured to determine an extent of rotation for the rotating handle.

Product Management Display System with Trackless Pusher Mechanism
20220000282 · 2022-01-06 ·

A product management display system for merchandising product on a shelf includes using a trackless pusher mechanism that travels along a surface on which product is placed and one or more dividers for separating product into rows. The one or more dividers may be engaged to a front rail in two different conditions, locked and unlocked. In a locked condition, the relationship between the divider and the front rail resists alteration in any direction with respect to each other. In the unlocked condition, the dividers may be freely slid laterally along the front rail, while remaining perpendicular to the front rail. The one or more dividers may lock to the front rail through the use of corresponding teeth, resilient surfaces, a locking tab, a locking bar and/or a cam.

Retainment assembly

A retainment assembly that includes a proximal retainer member that is movable between a first retracted position, a second retracted position and a deployed position, a distal retainer member that is movable between a retracted position and a deployed position. When the proximal retainer member moves from the deployed position to the first retracted position the distal retainer member does not move, and when the proximal retainer member moves from the deployed position to the second retracted position the distal retainer member moves from the deployed position to the retracted position.

Retail merchandise tray

A retail merchandise tray assembly is provided. The tray assembly may have an adjustable divider. The tray assembly may have a sign adaptor for mounting a sign to the divider. The tray assembly may have an accessory clip. The tray assembly may have a pivotable front stop. The tray assembly may have sign holders mounted to a front stop. The tray assembly may include signs mounted within a sign holder that is mounted to the front stop. The divider may be powder coated while the divider mounts may be free of painting. Methods are also provided.

Multi-screen display installation device, installation method and multi-screen frame

A multi-screen display installation device includes a first display cabinet and a second display cabinet with different lengths. Each of the first display cabinet includes first lower and upper connecting portions. The second display cabinet includes second lower and upper connecting portions. Each second lower connecting portion is aligned with and detachably engaged with the corresponding first upper connecting portion to bring the second display cabinet into ready stacking on a top of the first display cabinet in a desired upper stacking position. Each second upper connecting portion is aligned with and detachably engaged with the corresponding first lower connecting portion to bring the second display cabinet into ready stacking on a bottom of the first display cabinet in a desired lower stacking position.

Shelving system

A shelf system (1) comprises: a frame (5) for forming at least one shelf (70), and a plurality of primary and secondary rails (40, 50). The frame comprises a plurality of mounting portions (20, 30), to each of which at least one of a primary rail (40) and a secondary rail (50) is removably mountable to form lanes of different widths. Each lane includes a primary rail on one side and a secondary rail on the other side for supporting and guiding at least one item (60) in the lane, and the primary rails each comprise at least one sensor (700) for sensing the item (60) in the lane.
