Quick-chill beverage cooler with post-chill storage chamber
Methods and apparatuses are provided for cooling of beverages containers, such as cans or bottles, quickly, or on demand. An apparatus may provide for quickly cooling a number of beverage containers when power is available and for storing them, once they have been cooled. The apparatus may include a thermoelectric cooler configured to rapidly cool a beverage container in a cooling cell. The methods may include detecting the presence of a beverage container in a cooling cell and cooling the beverage container to a selected temperature. The availability of external power may be detected and a rapid cooling of a beverage container may begin when power becomes available.
Refrigerated sales furniture
A refrigerated sales furniture (2) comprises a base (4) provided at the bottom of the refrigerated sales furniture (2); a goods presentation space (10) comprising a front portion allowing access to the goods presentation space (10) and an opposing rear portion; wherein the goods presentation space (10) includes a bottom area (12) located next to the base (4); and a cold air channel (48) located next to the rear portion of the goods presentation space (10) comprising a lower portion (54) arranged next to the bottom area (12) of the goods presentation space (10) and having an opening (18) fluidly connecting the cold air channel (48) with the bottom area (12) of the goods presentation space (10) for allowing cold air to flow from the lower portion (54) of the cold air channel (48) into the bottom area (12) of the goods presentation space (10). The opening (18) is provided as a single opening (18) extending substantially over the whole height and width of the bottom area (12), respectively.
Refrigerated display case
A refrigerated display case (1) with at least one unit composed of a plurality of wall groups, namely a bottom group (11), a rear wall group (12), and a top group (13), which delimit a refrigerated chamber (4) at the bottom, at the back, and at the top, and with a cooling device (5) that has a refrigerant circuit and whose components at least include a compressor (51), an evaporator (50), a condenser (52), and an electric control unit (55). A refrigerated display case that is climate-friendly, efficient, and simultaneously safe to operate is achieved in that propane is contained as a refrigerant in the refrigerant circuit, with a filling capacity of more than 150 g.
Modular island merchandiser
An island merchandiser including a first merchandiser module, a second merchandiser module, and a single, unitary base. The first merchandiser module includes a first case defining a first product display area that is maintained within a predetermined temperature range below approximately 41 degrees Fahrenheit. The second merchandiser module is positioned next to the first merchandiser module, and includes a second case defining a second product display area The second merchandiser module is positioned so that a rear wall of the second case is in communication with a rear wall of the first case so that the first and second merchandiser modules are positioned in a back-to-back relationship. The unitary base is positioned to at least partially support each of the first and second merchandiser modules relative to a support surface. The module defined by the second merchandiser module is different from the module defined by the first merchandiser module.
MERCHANDISE DISPLAY SYSTEM AND UNIT
The present invention relates to a unit (100, 200) for a merchandise display system, comprising: an interface frame (102, 112) including a first side (112, 212) and a second side (114, 214), the interface frame (102, 112) configured: to couple to a frame of a back panel (150, 250) of the merchandise display system to locate the first side (112, 212) against the back panel (150, 250); and to provide a system to which merchandise hangers (14, 158) can be coupled at the second side (114, 214); an aperture (118) in the first side (112, 212); an aperture (118) in the second side (114, 214); wherein a space within the interface frame (102, 112) between the first side (112, 212) and the second side (114, 214) defines an enclosed air flow channel (152, 252) between the aperture (118) in the first side (112, 212) and the aperture (118) in the second side (114, 214). The present invention also relates to a merchandise display system comprising the unit (100, 200).
INDEXING COOLER
The present application provides an indexing cooler for a number of products. The indexing cooler may include an outer shell, a number of rotating product zones, and an indexing drive motor. The indexing drive motor rotates one of the rotating product zones into an exposed zone for a first predetermined length of a time.
ACCESSIBLE COOLING ENVIRONMENT
An example control system for a temperature controlled environment operates by alternatively executing on-cycles during which the controller controls the compressor to operate in an on-state and off-cycles during which the controller controls the compressor to operate in an off-state. During the off-cycle the control system executes a defrost cycle. To reduce power consumption of the temperature controlled environment, the control system executes a particular defrost cycle during the off-cycle based upon a stored indication of defrost cycle type.
FOOD WELL DISPLAY

Modular food service system and method
A food service system and method for dispensing contents, display the contents within a matrix of food pans suspended within a well member of the food service system. Each food pan is provided with a brim having an upper area extending transverse with respect to a stop element that establishes a dam enabling the contents of the food pan to spread over the corresponding upper area, while confined by the dam at the stop element. Corresponding stop elements of adjacent food pans are placed contiguous with one-another. In this manner, a display and dispensing area of the contents of each food pan is expanded to extend over the upper area of the brim of that food pan and is in close proximity with the display and dispensing area of adjacent food pans so as to enhance the display of the contents to be dispensed at the matrix of food pans within the food service system.
