In particular, the technology of the present disclosure relates to methods for administering an effective amount of a composition comprising strains of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens bacteria identified as ART24, ART4, and ART 12, to a subject suffering from or at risk for C. difficile infections.

BACTERIAL CONSORTIUM COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE BACILLUS AND LACTOBACILLUS STRAIN FOR GLUTEN DEGRADATION

A preparation comprising probiotic strains belonging to the genera Bacillus sp., Lactobacillus sp., optionally Pediococcus sp. as viable cells or cytoplasmic extract thereof, and proteases, wherein the strains can degrade peptide sequences of gliadins. The preparation can be used to produce gluten-free foods from gluten-containing cereals or to treat gluten-related disorders.

Microorganisms for waste treatment

The invention relates to treatment of waste with one or more microorganisms for the purposes of, including but not limited to, degrading waste, bioremediation of waste, enhancing waste stabilization, reducing contaminants in waste, reducing odor in waste, reducing organics in waste, and combinations thereof. More particularly, the invention relates to isolated Bacillus strains, and strains having all of the identifying characteristics of these strains, and combinations thereof, for uses comprising the above-mentioned uses.

Regulation method for preparing γ-polyglutamic acid by sludge substrate fermentation

A regulation method for preparing γ-polyglutamic acid by sludge substrate fermentation includes: 1) extraction of glutamic acid from sludge protein (high pressure hydrothermal treatment, gravity pressure filtration treatment), 2) secondary metabolic synthesis of γ-polyglutamic acid (activation of domesticated strains and secondary metabolic fermentation strains); and 3) preparation of pure γ-polyglutamic acid (acidification, centrifugation, filtration, precipitation based on polar repulsion, purification, impurity removal and drying). The present invention realizes a recycling of high-value carbon and nitrogen sources of sludge without secondary pollution, and has advantages of simplified operation, good feasibility, and low preparation cost. The synthesized γ-polyglutamic acid has high economic value and broad application prospect.

Microorganisms for plant pathogen inhibition

The invention relates to treatment of a plant with one or more microorganisms for inhibiting a plant pathogen. More particularly, the invention relates to isolated Bacillus strains, and strains having all of the identifying characteristics of these strains, and combinations thereof, for a use comprising the above-mentioned use.

CULTURE MEDIUM, FUNGUS BED, BAGGED FUNGUS BED, CULTURE MEDIUM MANUFACTURING METHOD, FUNGUS BED MANUFACTURING METHOD, BAGGED FUNGUS BED MANUFACTURING METHOD
20230159404 · 2023-05-25 · ·

A culture medium, a fungal bed, and a bagged fungal bed each of which is less liable to have mold occurring therein, and methods of producing those; wherein the culture medium contains at least one or two or more of a Bacillus sp. bacterium, an Ewingella sp. bacterium, and a Pseudomonas sp. bacterium. The fungal bed includes the culture medium inoculated with an inoculum, and the bagged fungal bed includes the fungal bed accommodated in a film bag having fine perforations. The culture medium production method incudes: heating a substrate in a storage container; and supplying air into the storage container. The fungal bed production method includes inoculating a culture medium, which is produced by the culture medium production method, with an inoculum of a mushroom, and the method of producing a bagged fungal bed includes accommodating the fungal bed in a film bag having a plurality of fine perforations.

BACILLUS SP. PRODUCING BIOFLOCCULANT AND BIOSURFACTANT AND USE THEREOF

The present application discloses a Bacillus sp. producing a bioflocculant and a biosurfactant. The microbial classification of the Bacillus sp. is named Bacillus sp. SS15, which has been preserved in China Center for Type Culture Collection on Mar. 29, 2021, and its preservation number is CCTCC M2021295; the 16S rRNA sequence of SS15 is shown as SEQ ID NO.1. Bacillus sp. SS15 obtained by the present application has the function of simultaneously producing a bioflocculant and a biosurfactant. The bioflocculant and biosurfactant produced by Bacillus sp. SS15 of the present application not only have high activity, but also show strong tolerance in the ranges of pH (2-12), temperature (4° C.-100° C.) and salinity (0-100 g/L). Meanwhile, they can be applied to the remediation of a fracturing flowback liquid and can effectively promote the removal of chroma, suspended solids, COD, n-alkanes and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons at the same time.
