An earring security display hanger includes a generally flat body member, first and second arms, and first and second closure members. The body member has a first end, a second end, first and second sides extending from the first and second ends, a first edge, and a second edge. The first and second arms extend longitudinally from the first and second edges of the body member, respectively. The first and second closure members, having a plurality of closure apertures, are connected to the body member by the first and second arms, respectively. A plurality of first closure hooks and a plurality of second closure hooks are formed integrally from the first side of the body member and are configured to engage with the plurality of closure apertures to provide a locking mechanism.

Embodiments of the present invention are directed to recoilers, merchandise security systems, and methods for displaying and protecting an article of merchandise from theft. In one example, the merchandise security system includes a sensor configured to be secured to the article of merchandise and a base for removably supporting the sensor and the item of merchandise thereon. The system also includes a recoiler operably coupled to the sensor. The recoiler includes a rotatable member defining a helical recess. The system further includes a cable configured to connect to the sensor and to be unwound from and wound on the rotatable member as the cable is extended and retracted. The cable is configured to be extended from the recoiler in response to the sensor being lifted off of the base, and the cable is configured to be retracted into the recoiler in response to the sensor being moved to a seated position on the base. The helical recess is configured to at least partially receive the cable therein as the cable is wound on the rotatable member.

An earring security display hanger includes a body member, first and second arms, and first and second closure members connected to the body member via the first and second arms. Each of the first and second closure members has a top wall and a side wall extending between the top wall and an open end such that a recess is formed therebetween. A closure member aperture is defined on the top wall of each of the closure members, and a plurality of first closure apertures and a plurality of second closure apertures are defined on the sidewall of the first and second closure members, respectively. A plurality of first closure hooks and a plurality of second closure hooks are formed from the body member and are configured to engage with the plurality of first closure apertures and the plurality of second closure apertures, respectively, to provide a locking mechanism.

A necklace security display hanger includes a body member, a closure member, and a base member. A body member has an upper body portion and a lower body portion wherein the lower body portion includes a plurality of locking parts and a first claw having a first claw opening at a distal end. A closure member has an upper closure portion, a lower closure portion, and an offset between the upper and lower closure portions wherein the lower closure portion includes a plurality of locking apertures and a second claw having a second claw opening at a distal end. When the plurality of locking parts are engaged with the plurality of locking apertures, tips of the second claw are positioned immediately next to tips of the first claw such that an enclosed hole is defined by the first and second claw openings of the first and second claws.

A necklace security display hanger includes a body member, a closure member, and a base member. A body member has an upper body portion and a lower body portion wherein the lower body portion includes a plurality of locking parts and a first claw having a first claw opening at a distal end. A closure member has an upper closure portion, a lower closure portion, and an offset between the upper and lower closure portions wherein the lower closure portion includes a plurality of locking apertures and a second claw having a second claw opening at a distal end. A display apparatus is provided for displaying a sample product with a display shelf. Included in the display apparatus is an upper housing member having an upper surface and a socket disposed on the upper surface. The socket is configured for accommodating an insertion of the sample product for loosely supporting the sample product during display. A lower housing member is attached to the upper housing member, and has a tethering device configured for connecting the sample product to the display apparatus under the action of a windup reel. The upper housing member includes a mounting block configured for being removably mountable under the display shelf and attachable on and depending from a front edge of the display shelf, such that the sample product inserted into the socket is accessible by a customer.

A display apparatus is provided for displaying a sample product with a display shelf. Included in the display apparatus is an upper housing member having an upper surface and a socket disposed on the upper surface. The socket is configured for accommodating an insertion of the sample product for loosely supporting the sample product during display. A lower housing member is attached to the upper housing member, and has a tethering device configured for connecting the sample product to the display apparatus under the action of a windup reel. The upper housing member includes a mounting block configured for being removably mountable under the display shelf and attachable on and depending from a front edge of the display shelf, such that the sample product inserted into the socket is accessible by a customer.

A secure display stand for a wearable comprises a socket for fixing to a display cabinet or mounting, a bracelet lock for locking around a bracelet or strap of a wearable to be displayed; and a bracket extending from the bracelet lock, the bracket having a charging element for charging of the wearable, wherein the bracelet lock is attached by a retractable cord to the socket.

A secure display stand for a wearable comprises a socket for fixing to a display cabinet or mounting, a bracelet lock for locking around a bracelet or strap of a wearable to be displayed; and a bracket extending from the bracelet lock, the bracket having a charging element for charging of the wearable, wherein the bracelet lock is attached by a retractable cord to the socket.

Embodiments of the present invention are directed to systems, devices, and methods for displaying and securing articles of merchandise. In one example, a merchandise security system includes a plurality of security devices, wherein each of the security devices includes a sensor configured to be attached to an article of merchandise. The system also includes at least one controller configured to communicate with each of the articles of merchandise in order to obtain data from the articles of merchandise. The controller and/or each of the security devices is configured to configured to generate a security signal in response to removal of the sensor from the article of merchandise.
