Apparatus and methods for mounting a poster
A poster mounting system is disclosed herein that, in various aspects, includes a slot disposed in a top rail and a poster insertably received in the slot. A clip may be insertably received within the slot to secure the poster. The clip, in various aspects, is formed as a unitary longitudinal member divided into a first segment and a second segment with an apex between the first segment and the second segment defining an obtuse angle with respect to the first segment and the second segment. When positioned in the slot, portions of the clip are compressively biased against a side face of the slot and other portions of the clip are compressively biased against portions of the poster to frictionally compressively engage the portions of the poster against an opposing side wall, in various aspects. The clips are removable to allow disengagement of the poster, in various aspects.
IMAGE FRAME AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
Provided is an image frame includes a polymer film including an image layer on a first main surface of the polymer film; a glass cover layer located over the first main surface of the polymer film with the image layer between the glass cover layer and the polymer film; and an adhesive film between the polymer film and the glass cover layer. The image frame may be displayed in more various forms without distortion and may be preserved long time without quality degradation.
Image system and method for making an image system
An image system can comprise a sheet of clear thermoplastic material formed to define an interior space configured for disposal of an image or a three-dimensional object. The sheet can comprise a substrate upon which an image can be directly printed or otherwise attached. The image system can comprise two or more panes that meet at a vertex along a corner or are oriented at an angle relative to one another. The vertex can be formed using a tool in combination with selective heating and cooling of the thermoplastic material. The image can extend across at least two of the panes. The image system can comprise a mount configured to deter theft or tampering. Connectors can be utilized to connect two or more image systems to one another.
CLEAR MAT FOR LAYERED BORDERLESS FRAMES AND METHODS OF MAKING
A clear mat is formed from a transparent or translucent machinable material and has an opening dimensioned to receive an article. The clear mat is sized to precisely match the width and height of a borderless frame. The borderless frame has a front panel and a back panel and is also made of a transparent or translucent machinable material. The opening of the clear mat has a thickness ranging from about 1/16 to about two inches. The clear mat is sandwiched between the front and back panels of the borderless frame with the article held in the opening without having to touch the front panel. The clear mat can prevent dust or foreign elements to come in contact with the article. The borderless frame with the clear mat can be mounted on a wall using mounting hardware through aligned holes in the clear mat and the front and back panels.
PICTURE HOLDER
A picture or card holder is provided having a flexible rim defining a picture opening inside an outer retention flap. The flexible rim retains the picture or card without any covering that covers the entire picture or and only covers an edge of the picture or card. A decorative extension is secured to an outer circumference of the rim and extends away from the rim. The picture or card can be removed and exchanged without removing any components of the picture or card holder.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS OF AN ILLUMINATED BASE MOUNTED FRAMING SYSTEM
In one aspect, a back-lit digital photograph frame system is provided. A display assembly includes: a tray frame comprising a back surface of the display assembly as a backside enclosure; an optical acrylic block comprising a front surface of the display assembly; a light guide plate, wherein the light guide plate is located between a photographic print and a reflective backing paper, the photographic print, wherein the photographic print is located between optical acrylic block and the light guide plate, and a reflective backing paper, wherein the reflective back paper is located between the light guide plate and the tray frame, wherein the tray frame, the optical acrylic block, the light guide plate, the photographic print and the reflective backing paper are set in a vertical stack, and a base mount comprising an opening that receives the display assembly and holds the display assembly in a vertical position orthogonal to a receiving surface of the base mount, wherein the display assembly is held in place with a compression fit, and wherein the base mount further comprises a light emitting diode (LED) strip.
Mounting Assembly
A mounting assembly is provided comprising at least one elongate mount comprising a longitudinal recess extending at least partially therealong; and a length of compressible material that is complimentary with said longitudinal recess and adapted to be received in frictional engagement therein, thereby securely retaining a sheet of material positioned in said longitudinal recess
Methods and systems for a mounting tool
Embodiments disclosed herein describe fracturing methods and systems to temporarily mount an object to a flat surface without damaging the object or the flat surface.
Convertible display assembly
A convertible display assembly is disclosed. The convertible display assembly includes a display sleeve, a connector attached to the back of the display sleeve and forming a connector plate cavity, and a support bracket. The support bracket has a connector plate that is received by the connector plate cavity between the connector and the display sleeve to demountably attach the display sleeve to the support bracket.
Hanging frame assembly
An article for hanging on a support surface includes a substrate having a first end and a second end. The article includes a pair of rails with each rail including a recessed channel that extends in a longitudinal direction. A pair of splines is provided with each spline including a raised ridge that extends in a longitudinal direction. The raised ridge is inserted into the recessed channel. The article also includes a first pair of end caps. An elongated hanging element passes through the slots of the first pair of end caps. Wherein in an assembled state, one rail and one spline are disposed adjacent one another such that the raised ridge is at least partially inserted into the recessed channel and the substrate is captured within the recessed channel and the first pair of end caps are disposed over opposite ends of the one rail and one spline to join and hold the one rail and one spline against one another with the substrate captured therebetween.
