20200352363 · 2020-11-12 · ·

A modular photograph display system is provided. The display system can include one of more modular illuminated photograph display assemblies including a frame, base, and a post therebetween. The frame can include a frame back, illumination panel, photograph matte, window, clip assemblies, and cover. The clip assemblies can secure the window and matte against the frame back, such that a photograph can be inserted therebetween, and can magnetically secure the cover to the frame back. The base can include an LED driver and a controller for controlling one or more illumination panels. The bases of two or more modular photograph display assemblies can be coupled together to form an assembly of display assemblies. Additional frames and posts can added on top of the frames of the modular display assemblies to further increase the number of photographs that can be displayed.

Image displays are disclosed. An image display may include an image support and a plurality of foldable sections. Each foldable section may have a first segment rotatably coupled to and configured to lock with the image support and a second segment rotatably coupled to and configured to lock with the first segment. The image display may have an open and an assembled configuration. Display faces of the image support, first segment, and second segment may be co-planar in the collapsed configuration. The display faces image support and the second segment may be perpendicular to the display face of the first segment in the assembled configuration.

System for retaining an image within a frame

A spline installation device for use with a spline/rail type frame to assemble the splines to the rails. The device including a base that defines a platform for receiving a frame subassembly; and a plurality of linkages that are disposed about the platform and coupled to the base. Each linkage is configured to move between a first position in which a fence bearing surface thereof is at an angle other than 90 degrees relative to the platform and a second position in which the fence bearing surface is set at an at least substantially 90 degree angle relative to the platform for locking and holding the frame subassembly in place. The linkages further being configured to receive a spline instillation tool for locking the splines in place relative to the rails.

A poster mounting system is disclosed herein that, in various aspects, includes a slot disposed in a top rail and a poster insertably received in the slot. A clip may be insertably received within the slot to secure the poster. The clip, in various aspects, is formed as a unitary longitudinal member divided into a first segment and a second segment with an apex between the first segment and the second segment defining an obtuse angle with respect to the first segment and the second segment. When positioned in the slot, portions of the clip are compressively biased against a side face of the slot and other portions of the clip are compressively biased against portions of the poster to frictionally compressively engage the portions of the poster against an opposing side wall, in various aspects. The clips are removable to allow disengagement of the poster, in various aspects.

A framing system includes a compliant framing mat having a top major surface, and at least one display item overlying the top major surface of the compliant framing mat. The framing system includes a picture frame having a central opening and glazing covering the central opening. The compliant framing mat is disposed inside the picture frame with the at least one display item disposed between the glazing and the top major surface of the compliant framing mat.

HANGING APPARATUS AND BRACKET THEREOF

A hanging apparatus that includes a frame that supports a display item and a bracket for purposes of hanging the hanging apparatus. The bracket may include a body portion and a mounting portion, the mounting portion facilitating coupling of the bracket to a backer panel that is part of a stack positioned in a rabbet of the frame. Thus, the mounting portion includes walls that define a mounting channel. Portions of the backer panel are positioned within the mounting channels of the bracket prior to inserting the backer panel into the rabbet of the frame. Fasteners such as turn buttons or flex tabs may be altered into a locked state to secure the stack and the bracket in the rabbet so that the frame can be hung for display of the display item.

Wall Cleat and System for Hanging Items
20200281376 · 2020-09-10 ·

A frame mounting system for hanging frames on a wall surface includes a wall-mount cleat and a product-side cleat that is integrally-formed in at least one side frame rails of a frame during the manufacture of the frame. The two cleats are sized and shaped to selectively and snugly engage each other. A user simply mounts the wall-mount cleat level to a wall surface and then engages the product-side cleat with the wall mount cleat. An additional feature of the present invention is a flat surface that is formed in the frame rail adjacent to the integrally formed cleat. This flat surface is sized and shaped to receive and support a backing material by either staples or an appropriate adhesive to help protect the rear of the picture or painting.

PLANAR DISPLAY ASSEMBLY

A planar display assembly is provided with a planar display pane in a frame with apertures formed about a periphery. Base members have a post received within the apertures. A retaining wall with ratchet teeth extends from each base member. Latch members with a hoop portion with a slot receive each retaining wall for adjustment in a direction toward the frame to accommodate display panes of varying thicknesses. A tooth is formed in each latch member to engage the ratchet teeth for adjustment. A release tab is provided on each latch member for manual release of the tooth from the ratchet teeth. A flexible arm extends from each latch members to engage and retain the planar display pane within the frame.
