A self-fastening device for joining two objects together. The fastening device has a main slot for receiving an anchor from a second object and at least one branching slot for accommodating a latch, which by spring, magnet or gravity force is biased to the engaged position. When the anchor is inserted into the fastening device it is locked inside securely, fastening the two objects together. When a magnet strong enough to overcome the biasing force is brought from outside of the object into the vicinity of the latch, it moves the latch away from the engaged position, thereby unlocking the anchor and unfastening the objects.

Embodiments of the present disclosure include an image frame assembly including a frame portion defining a viewing window and a backing panel attached to a back of the frame portion. The backing panel includes a hinge portion that rotatably couples the backing panel to the frame portion to allow the frame portion to rotate relative to the backing panel about an axis extending parallel to and proximate to an upper edge of the backing panel, a body portion extending from the hinge portion and configured to cover at least portion of a viewing window of the frame portion, and a plurality of biased members extending from the planar portion and toward the frame portion.

A wall article hanging device uses a plate having at least one prong, a bent configuration, and a keyhole opening to allow the wall article hanging device to be easily attached to from a wall article using a screw protruding from a back of the wall article and removed without having to remove the screw.

A mounting assembly is provided comprising at least one elongate mount comprising a longitudinal recess extending at least partially therealong; and a length of compressible material that is complimentary with said longitudinal recess and adapted to be received in frictional engagement therein, thereby securely retaining a sheet of material positioned in said longitudinal recess

A frame reinforcement hanger apparatus for reinforcing and hanging picture frames includes a set of three brackets each comprising a bracket back side, a perpendicular extension, and a lip. The bracket back side has a pair of string apertures extending therethrough. The perpendicular extension is coupled to the bracket back side. The lip extends perpendicularly from the extension. The set of three brackets is configured to slidingly secure a frame left side, a frame right side, and a frame bottom side of a picture frame. A pair of washers each has a washer aperture. A string is coupled through the pair of string apertures of each bracket and the washer aperture of a central washer of the pair of washers and is tied to a top washer of the pair of washers. The top washer is configured to be engaged with a frame hook or a nail.

A mounting device is provided for hanging articles on a wall or other mounting surface. The disclosed mounting device includes a bracket having a raised center portion arranged between two side portions formed integral and contiguous with the raised center portion, and a fastener having a flattened head and a shaft extending therefrom. The raised center portion of the bracket includes a first pair of opposing sidewalls, and the flattened head of the fastener includes a second pair of opposing sidewalls. When the flattened head of the fastener is slidably engaged with the raised center portion of the bracket, each of the second pair of opposing sidewalls is arranged adjacent and parallel to a respective one of the first pair of opposing sidewalls. This prevents substantial rotational movement of the bracket around the fastener to ensure that the wall-mounted article remains at a desired location and orientation on the wall.

A bracket for hanging a picture frame on a supporting structure. The bracket is a one-piece member formed of plastic having a pair of legs projecting perpendicularly from a bottom surface of a base and extending at right angles with respect to each other. The legs are spaced from a peripheral edge of the base forming a V-shaped planar portion between the edge and legs. A reinforcing member extends between the pair of legs and an attachment pin mounted in the reinforcing member extends outwardly beyond a top surface of the base. A pair of securement pins in the frame legs are driven into the frame to secure the bracket in a right angle corner of the frame. A pair of attachment pins is pressed into the supporting structure to suspend the frame therefrom after two of the brackets are secured in upper right hand corners of the frame.

The wall hanging may include a front panel and a back panel. The hanging and shipping support device include a hanger support having a thickness and a hanger. The packaging device has a thickness that is substantially similar to the hanger support thickness. A picture frame hanging assembly that includes a pair of brackets each respectively directly coupled at least one of a horizontally and a vertically oriented frame elements and each bracket enclosing and defining hook-receiving aperture superimposed over a frame cavity of the picture frame and with an aperture width. The assembly includes a pair of hook components directly coupled to a building wall surface and with a cantilevered hook member extending therefrom an offset length from a front surface of the hook components to define a bracket placement zone with one of the pair of brackets disposed therein and having an inner surface with an inner surface hook width spanning from terminal opposing lateral sides thereon and at least partially supporting an upper wall of the respective one of the pair of hook components, the aperture width at least approximately twice or greater than the inner surface hook width.

A hanger is provided that remains relatively stable and does not rotate in a direction a hanging rod extends from which the hanger is suspended. The hanger comprises a top hook which is configured with multiple straight sides with adjacent straight sides connected at angles, wherein two adjacent sides are connected at an angle via a high point, wherein the high point is a highest point of the top hook. The two adjacent straight sides connected via the high point are arranged to contact the hanging rod on opposing sides when suspended from the hanging rod. The top hook is connected to one or more arms which are connected to base. The base includes a wavy portion which includes one or more peaks and one or more low points, wherein a first low point is configured at a midpoint of the base and the first low point is in line with the high point of the top along a centerline.
