WALL ANCHOR ASSEMBLIES AND RELATED WALL MOUNT SYSTEMS
An anchor assembly for hanging an object on a wall includes a first anchor component and a second anchor component. The second anchor component is pivotably associated with the first anchor component for movement between an anchoring orientation and a non-anchoring orientation to enable staged installation of the anchor assembly into a wall. At least one wall penetrating retainer extends from each of the first and second anchor components. When the second anchor component is in the anchoring orientation a curved configuration of the wall penetrating extent of the retainer of the second anchor component opposes a curved configuration of the wall penetrating extent of the retainer of the first anchor component to form a jaw-type arrangement.
Positioning and stabilizing device for picture frames and the like
A device is provided which assists the positioning of wall mounted articles in their preferred orientation and stabilizing them to prevent them moving. The device comprises female and male components, each of which include mating features and magnetic elements that facilitate aligning, mating and attracting the female and male components together when the device is assembled. In a method of using the device to position and stabilize an article, such as a framed picture, on a generally vertically oriented structure, such as a wall, each of the female and male components is affixed to a respective one of the back of the article and the wall such that their mating features are exposed and align and mate with one another, and the magnetic elements attract one another, thereby holding the components together, as well as holding the article to the generally vertically oriented structure in a preferred orientation.
Hanging system and bracket thereof
A hanging system and a method of hanging a support structure from a support surface. The hanging system may include a support structure and a hanging bracket for hanging the support structure from a support surface such as a wall. The support structure may include a mounting groove that accepts a portion of the hanging bracket to facilitate the coupling therebetween. The support structure may be able to slide side-to-side along the support surface while remaining coupled to the hanging bracket. The hanging system may alternatively, or additionally, include a reinforcement bracket. The reinforcement bracket may serve the dual purpose of holding the various mitered components of the support structure together and facilitating the hanging of the support structure from the support surface.
WALL DECORATIVE OBJECT HANGER
A hanger comprises a planar surface spanning a horizontal width. An adhesive layer is configured horizontally along an upper edge of a first side of the planar surface and is attachable to the vertical surface. A receptacle is configured below the planar surface, and is fitted to receive therein a head of a hanging adaptor below a second side of the planar surface that is opposite the first side. When the head is contained within the receptacle, the hanging adaptor is centered along the horizontal width of the planar surface. Elongated panels extend between the planar surface and the receptacle and are configured to restrain a rim of the head of the hanging adaptor, such that a lateral movement of the hanging adaptor is bounded by the one or more elongated panels. A horizontal width of the receptacle is narrower than the horizontal width spanned by the planar surface.
WALL HANGING AND SECURING DEVICE AND METHOD OF USE
An anchor system which can be used to hang framed items from a wall or to secure and anchor a piece of furniture or other object to a wall. The system includes an arrow element, a first washer element, and a second washer element. The arrow element includes a head with several expanding barbs and a body which includes a zip-tie zipper portion. Each washer has a flat body with a front face and a rear face, and a zip-tie receiver portion at its center on its front face, and with several prongs on its rear face opposing the receiver portion.
FASTENER SYSTEM
A fastener system shifting shear stresses away from a collet body and provides clamping action to targeted structures. The fastener system includes feet in the collet body that mate with openings in a sleeve at least partially surrounding the collet body. The sleeve or the collet body includes interior threads that engage with a stud that is configured to extend through the collet body and bend the feet such that they project outward from the sleeve openings in an engaged configuration.
SELF-LOCKING HANGING DEVICE
A self-closing and locking device for hanging objects on a mounting surface is disclosed. The device includes a mounting bracket and a locking arm member translatably engaged with an elongated track portion of the mounting bracket. The track portion comprises a pair of guide portions defining a slot therebetween, and rear recesses in a back side of the guide portions. The rear recesses comprise lower locking portions, and upper rotating portions that are deeper than the locking portions. The arm member comprises a base portion that is positioned within the rear recesses, and an arm portion that extends from the base portion and through the slot. The device is configured such that the arm member is oriented in a closed position when the base portion is engaged with the locking portions, and orientable in an open position when the base portion is engaged with the rotating portions.
METHOD OF ASSEMBLING A FRAME
A method of assembling a frame which includes positioning a first frame member adjacent to a second frame member, the first and second frame members having channel with a mounting surface; providing a reinforcement bracket having a plate with a front surface and a rear surface, a first mounting element extending from the rear surface of the plate, and a second mounting element extending from the rear surface of the plate; applying an adhesive along at least one of: (1) the mounting surfaces of the frame members; and (2) the first and second mounting elements of the reinforcement bracket; and positioning the first and second mounting elements into the channels and pressing the first and second mounting elements against the mounting surfaces to adhesively attach the reinforcement bracket to the first and second frame members and thereby couple the first and second frame members together.
WALL ANCHORS AND ASSEMBLIES FOR HEAVYWEIGHT OBJECTS
A wall hook comprising at least a base plate including opposing front and back surfaces, a top edge, a bottom edge and two opposing side edges; a downwardly curved prong having a base, wherein the prong extends outwardly along an arc to a wall-penetrating end, a load bearing structure adjacent the top edge, and an alignment notch at the bottom edge, wherein the base of the prong is integral with one of the opposing sides edges.
