Picture hanging device
Devices, systems and methods for hanging one or more objects, such as frames, on a surface. A marking device for marking a surface for hanging one or more objects. The marking device can have a main body portion having first and second arms pivotably attached thereto. The first and second arms, as well as the main body, can each have a marker to mark a target surface. The marking device can optionally have a level indicator and the first and second arms can have markers which can slide along a ruled measure for convenient positioning of marks on the target surface. Optionally, the markers can have biased, retractable, or sheathed marker pins.
Marking Apparatus and Kit for Blind Mount Alignment
A marking apparatus facilitates blind mounting of an object to a mounting surface in a desired alignment using the object as an alignment template. One end of the apparatus is configured to be affixed to a mounting slot or edge of the object, then the other end used to mark the appropriate supporting fastener location on the mounting surface. The object's mounting slots or edges may be represented by mounting hardware components that are flush with, recessed in, or protruding from the local planar surface of the object. To accommodate a broad variety of mounting conditions and mounting hardware, certain embodiments of the apparatus may include selectively adjustable or interchangeable head adapters, distinct head and retention configurations and/or a hardware relief channel A channel adapter is disclosed for use with embodiments of the apparatus having a hardware relief channel. Embodiments of a slot- securable point marking tool are also disclosed.
WALL HOOK, FIXING ARRANGEMENT HAVING THE WALL HOOK, AND METHOD FOR FIXING THE WALL HOOK
A wall hook for fixing in an anchoring substrate. In order that a hook part of the wall hook can be aligned at any desired spacing from the anchoring substrate, the wall hook includes a stop element which extends away from a hook element parallel to a longitudinal axis, the hook part being rotatable relative to the stop element about the longitudinal axis.
ADJUSTABLE HANGER APPARATUS AND METHOD
An adjustable hanger assembly having a fixed holder base mountable to a substantially planar structure such as a wall and a movable hook assembly slidably insertable into a cavity within the fixed holder base A actuator disposed in the fixed holder base in contact with the movable hook assembly causes the movable hook to move upward or downward in relation to the fixed holder base to a desired position of an item for hanging.
MOUNTING DEVICE AND METHOD OF SUPPORTING AN OBJECT
Disclosed are mounting devices that allow consumers to quickly and easily determine whether a given mounting device can be used to hang or otherwise support a desired object. The mounting device includes an indicator that is exposed to alert the consumer if the weight of the object exceeds the maximum weight recommendation of the mounting device. If the indicator remains hidden, the mounting device is considered appropriate for the given object.
HOOK FOR ADJUSTING VERSATILE WIDTHS
A hook for adjusting versatile widths has a body and a gasket. The body has a base and a hook body. The hook body is disposed on the base. The gasket has a hole and a plurality of protruding structures. The protruding structures are disposed around the hole. The different thicknesses of the protruding structures correspond to the different peripheral positions of the hole. The hook body penetrates through the hole of the gasket, and the gasket is able to rotate on the hook body.
Object hanging system and method
A system is presented for connecting a wall hanging object the support surface such as wall. The system has an attachment member that is attached to the wall surface by using one or more fastening techniques such as adhesive, tape or mechanical fastener. The mounting bracket has hook and opening guide path positioned within or along the hook. Wherein, a flexible member such as elongated rod is connected to the opening guide formed in the hook of the mounting bracket. Further, the flexible member or rod has two ends such as head and tip that allows the flexible member or rod to slide between fully extended and retracted position. In the extended position, the flexible member or rod helps to connect with the hanger or loops of the object or picture frame and later guides the hanger of the object to fit over the hook of the mounting bracket.
WALL ANCHOR ASSEMBLIES AND RELATED WALL MOUNT SYSTEMS
An anchor assembly for hanging an object on a wall includes a first anchor component and a second anchor component. The second anchor component is pivotably associated with the first anchor component for movement between an anchoring orientation and a non-anchoring orientation to enable staged installation of the anchor assembly into a wall. At least one wall penetrating retainer extends from each of the first and second anchor components. When the second anchor component is in the anchoring orientation a curved configuration of the wall penetrating extent of the retainer of the second anchor component opposes a curved configuration of the wall penetrating extent of the retainer of the first anchor component to form a jaw-type arrangement.

PICTURE FRAME HANGER
A picture frame hanger includes a horizontal level bar. The horizontal level bar has a top leveled surface with a bottom curved edge. A securing tab extends upwards from the top leveled surface and provides an attachment point for a picture frame with standard hanging hardware. The top leveled surface provides a level surface for the standard hanging hardware to rest and the bottom curved edge allows for the rotation of the picture frame hanger and the attached picture frame to level the attached picture frame. A vertical support bar extends downward from the horizontal lever bar and provides a lever arm to counteract the downward force created by the weight of the picture frame to prevent the picture frame hanger and picture frame from tilting forward.
