A method for drying to increase the useful life of botanicals and shorten the time to market after harvest of the botanicals. The method may include flash freezing the botanicals, at a desired optimal temperature range, soon after harvest. The method may include storing the frozen botanicals indefinitely prior to drying. The method may include drying the frozen botanicals using a lyophilizer at a desired optimal temperature and pressure.

A picture frame hanging assembly that includes at least one bracket directly coupled to either a horizontally oriented or a vertically oriented frame element and each bracket enclosing and defining hook-receiving aperture superimposed over a frame cavity of the picture frame and with an aperture width. The assembly includes a hook component directly coupled to a building wall surface and with a cantilevered hook member extending therefrom an offset length from a front surface of the hook component to define a bracket placement zone with the bracket disposed therein and having an inner surface with an inner surface hook width spanning from terminal opposing lateral sides thereon and at least partially supporting an upper wall of the hook component, wherein the aperture width is at least approximately twice or greater than the inner surface hook width.

A marking apparatus facilitates blind mounting of an object to a mounting surface in a desired alignment using the object as an alignment template. One end of the apparatus is configured to be affixed to a mounting slot or edge of the object, then the other end used to mark the appropriate supporting fastener location on the mounting surface. The object's mounting slots or edges may be represented by mounting hardware components that are flush with, recessed in, or protruding from the local planar surface of the object. To accommodate a broad variety of mounting conditions and mounting hardware, certain embodiments of the apparatus may include selectively adjustable or interchangeable head adapters, distinct head and retention configurations and/or a hardware relief channel A channel adapter is disclosed for use with embodiments of the apparatus having a hardware relief channel. Embodiments of a slot-securable point marking tool are also disclosed.

A deck, a turret mounted on a top end of the deck, wherein the turret protrudes from the top end of the deck and the turret is gripped by a user as a handle while hanging a picture on a wall using the apparatus; a hook hanger attached to the front side of the deck for hanging a picture frame from a wire on a back of the picture frame; and a hole through the deck for aligning a push pin to pass through the hole and mark a location for an anchor from which the picture frame hangs.

A tongue is mounted to the back and extends outward from the back towards the hook. Apertures extend through the back, the tongue, and the mount, with the apertures aligned in a straight line. The base comprises a unitary, one-piece construction.

A hanger to hang an object to a support. Disclosed is a mounting assembly for hanging articles, for example, pictures, art, mirrors and the like. A receiver component attaches to a surface (e.g., a wall) and a hook component attached to an article (e.g., a picture frame). The receiver component includes a slot. The hook component includes a tab insertable in the slot. The receiver component attaches to the flat surface by use of adhesive material and/or fasteners. The receiver component may also include marks and a built-in level to allow for precise positioning of the receiver component. The hook component attaches to the article using fasteners in elongated slots thereby allowing precise positioning. Once the hook component is inserted into the receiver component, a user may further adjust the article's horizontal position and angle (e.g., level).

This invention provides a hanger for supporting pictures, mirrors or other objects on a wall. Specifically, this invention allows a person to nail the hanger to the wall and if relatively minor adjustments are needed, to remove a screw cap on the nail, remove the hanger and reattach the hanger to the wall using another hole on the hanger that best approximates the desired position, then put the cap back on the nail and screw the cap tight. In another embodiment, spacers can be attached to the hanger so that additional hangers can form a larger hanger and then placed back on the wall through the nail already in place that best approximates the position. Additional nails can then be inserted into some of the other hanger's holes to provide additional support, strength and leveling.
