Cross flexure suspension system

Suspension system structures and methods are provided. A system as disclosed allows for rotation of a supported object in two axes, with very little translational movement of the supported object. The system can include a base mounting structure that is joined to an intermediate or connecting structure by a first set of flexure blades. The connecting structure is in turn joined to a supported element structure by a second set of flexure blades. The first set of flexure blades can include four blades that intersect along a line that is coincident with an X axis of rotation, and the second set of flexure blades can include four blades that intersect along a line that is coincident with the Y axis of rotation. The components of the suspension system can comprise a monolithic structure that is formed from a single piece of material.

APPARATUS FOR HANGING PICTURES ON A WALL
20200015608 · 2020-01-16 ·

A wall hanger for hanging an object on a wall via a wire includes a wall mounting member having a planar rear portion for mounting to the wall, a front portion spaced apart from the rear and bottom portions. The rear, bottom and front portions define a horizontal ledge with a first keying arrangement that is accessible from above the wall mounting member. A wire retention member has lower and upper shells connected by a hinge to open and close the lower and upper shells, and receive the wire. The lower and upper shells have peripheral edges with a second keying arrangement corresponding with the first keying arrangement. The first and second keying arrangements are configured to engage with each other when the wire retention member is in its closed position. A plurality of locking members engages and locks the wire retention member in the closed position.

STORAGE CABINET HAVING A POWERED MOVEMENT SYSTEM
20190350360 · 2019-11-21 ·

A storage cabinet is disclosed. The storage cabinet includes a housing, a movement system and a computing device. The housing includes a plurality of walls and a door. The walls and door define an internal storage cavity. The movement system is operatively connected to the door and configured to control vertical movement of the door. The movement system is configured to move the door between, at least, a fully closed and fully open position based on inputs provided by a user. The computing device is operatively connected to the movement system. The computing device includes a processor and memory. The memory stores instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to receive an input from a user, and generate control signal(s) for the movement system based on the input from the user. The control signals cause the movement system to move the door into a different position.
