The base section has an elongate main form, parts of which can be positioned between the bearing section of a saddle-type planter and the retaining structure. The trellis structure (3) is fixed in position on the base section (4) so that it extends upwards relative to the base section (4).

Potted plant riser assemblies are provided for preventing small, crawling insects from accessing cultivated plants. Embodiments of the potted plant riser assembly can include an outer wall structure that defines an outer ground boundary. The outer wall structure surrounds a capture trough, which surrounds a riser structure. The capture trough has insect capture material disposed therein. The riser structure includes an elevated platform on which to place (or integrate) a planter for cultivating a plant. The potted plant riser assembly also includes an eaves structure designed to permit entry of small, crawling insects into the capture trough, while also shielding the capture trough from entry of debris and from run-off of water, soil, and the like from the plant and planter.

A horticulture tray support system including a plurality of horticulture trays. Each one of the plurality of horticulture trays defines a plurality of growing cells. A stand includes a plurality of vertical supports spaced apart along a length of the stand. A horizontal support extends along the length of the stand between at least two of the plurality of vertical supports. The apparatus disclosed allows a user to easily garden in a reduced area or confined space with limiting yard or space to garden. The apparatus comprises a collapsible and portable planter that allows for growth of plants upwards and downwards, the planter being collapsible for shipping and transport from one location to another, and further providing a hardware component to elevate oneself or items from a ground surface. The planter is placed upon a support frame, the support frame being collapsible into a relatively flat or two-dimensional structure easy to carry. The planter can be removably placed upon the support frame. Further, the planter and support frame together as the apparatus can be picked up and moved as desired by a user. Embodiments of the apparatus are simply designed to allow a user easy set-up, assembly, and use.

An improved multifunctional workbench which comprises a desk element and one or more storage compartments, configured for housing documents, located under it. The desk element is made, at least partially, of a material presenting variable light transmission properties, such that it can selectively pass from a transparent configuration to an opaque configuration. Advantageously, the workbench allows to keep the desk, which is normally full of documents, clean, because makes visible the documents stored in the storage compartments below it selectively. Otherwise, it is possible to keep such documents hidden when necessary, for privacy reasons.
