Patchwork quilt with framed keepsakes
A blanket in the form of a patchwork quilt and a method of creation is provided. The quilt comprises a plurality of patchwork squares that are cut from a variety of cloth pieces. A plurality of fabric strips is cut to form the border of the patchwork square, whereby each strip comprises a heat-activated, dual-sided adhesive. The outer edges of the plurality of fabric strips are then sewn around the perimeter of the patchwork square, while the inner edge remains unsecured to the square. A keepsake may be inserted within the inner perimeter of the border, thereafter a user may secure the keepsake within the border by applying a heat source to the border.
COMFORT ITEM COMPRISING FOAM FILLING ELEMENTS
A comfort item (200) has a first volume (202) delimited by an outer boundary, where the first volume (202) includes several foam pieces (100). The foam pieces have a body part (101); several foam arms (102) having a first end and a second end, where the first end is attached to the body part (101), and the second end protrudes away from the body part (101); and several contour recesses (103) between the foam arms (102), wherein the width of the foam arms is greater that the length of the foam arms. Several foam filling elements for such a comfort item are also described. As a result, a comfort item is obtained with a filling providing good filling properties and adding air to the comfort item.
Comforter
A comforter has a first fabric sheet and a second fabric sheet. Each of the fabric sheets include a knit cover layer formed from a base yarn, and knitted into this base layer is a fibrous fluffy yarn in such a manner that a looped pile results. The looped pile is then sheared to create a cut pile nap. The first and second fabric sheets are stitched together around a perimeter with perimeter stitching to contain a fill material between the first and second fabric sheets and within the perimeter stitching. The first and second fabric sheets are also stitched together via lateral stitching that extends laterally at least partially across the comforter at spaced longitudinal intervals, so that the first and second fabric sheets are connected via the longitudinal stitching and movement of the fill material is constrained.
Split Panel Bed Cover
A adjustable bed cover having a bed panel and an adjustable panel. The bed panel is generally rectangular and having vent panels proximate a bottom edge. The adjustable panel is generally rectangular configuration and mates with the bed panel proximate the bed panels top edge forming a plurality of arm openings between the two panels. The adjustable bed cover providing ability to adjust the bed panel to regulate temperature, provide desired body coverage and provide desired freedom of movement.
SEWING METHOD AND STRUCTURE FOR DUVET
This application provides a sewing method and structure for a duvet, and the sewing method includes the following steps: first, stacking base cloth, a plurality pieces of retractable cloth and a plurality pieces of connection cloth together in sequence to form a duvet unit; then aligning two duvet units, and sewing the connection cloth on the two duvet units together in a one-to-one correspondence; and finally sewing perimeters of two pieces of the base cloth together in a one-to-one correspondence to form a closed down space. A beneficial effect of this invention is that downs in the duvet cannot run out from the gaps.
BEDDING ASSEMBLY
A bedding assembly includes a cushion, a cushion cover, a top cover and a coupling unit. The cushion has opposite lateral surfaces. The cushion cover accommodates the cushion and has opposite first and second cover portions that are respectively adjacent to the lateral surfaces of the cushion. The top cover is laid on top of the cushion cover and has opposite first and second side portions that are respectively adjacent to the first and second cover portions of the cushion cover. The coupling unit includes a first coupling subunit that separably couples the first cover portion to the first portion, and a second coupling subunit that separably couples the second cover portion to the second side portion.
Baffled insulating garment / blanket panel
A baffled insulating garment/blanket panel may include a first layer, a second layer, an insulating particle layer and a third layer. The second layer may have folds forming trough-shaped walls comprising a first wall, a second wall and a third wall, each of which is secured to the first wall. The insulating particle layer may include a first portion between the first wall and the second wall and sandwiched between the first layer and the second layer and a second portion between the second wall and the third wall and sandwiched between the first layer and the second layer. The third layer may include folds forming consecutive trough-shaped walls comprising a fourth wall secured within the first wall and a fifth wall secured within the third wall, wherein portions of the third layer between the fourth wall and the fifth wall span across a top of the second wall.
TRAVEL SEAT CUSHION WITH STORABLE BLANKET
A travel seat cushion incorporating a storable blanket having a hood, is disclosed. The travel seat cushion is formed having a resilient compressible filling such as memory foam or recycled plastic filling. The travel seat cushion may, in different embodiments, further include a plurality of handles or straps and fasteners for ease of storage of the seat cushion, or a shoulder strap for ease of transport. The blanket may be formed of a fleece material for warmth and comfort. Alternatively, the blanket section of the seat cushion may be formed having an outer waterproof layer, such as nylon, with an inner fleece layer for warmth and comfort. The blanket may also have buttons, snaps or other fasteners located at the bottom of the hood allowing for fastening of the hood in place. The blanket may also incorporate hand pocket sections at an edge of the blanket section.
INFINITY QUILTING
Article, such as quilted construction, and methods of making the same are described. A quilted construction may comprise a first woven sheet, a second woven sheet, a series of stitching, a reinforcing body, and a thermally insulating filler. The first woven sheet may be coupled to the second woven sheet via a series of stitching to define one or more chambers. The reinforcing body may have a figure-eight form and may be disposed between the first woven sheet and second woven sheet such that a crossover of the figure-eight form is aligned with the series of stitching. The thermal insulating filler may be disposed within the one or more chambers.
Simulated duvet cover system
A simulated duvet cover system provides an easily-assembled multi-layer construction in which first and second cover layers formed by fabric sheets are removably coupled to an intermediate layer defined by a blanket or comforter and sandwiched between the cover layers. Each of the first and second cover layers is separately coupled to the intermediate layer using respective first and second fastening elements, which may include snaps, hook and loop fasteners, magnets, and the like. The coupling may be limited to being at the corner portions and along one of four side/end edges of the layers to promote quick and easy removal of the cover layers when those require cleaning. The cover layers are sized such that portions of these cover layers overlie or cover up the fastening elements when the cover system is assembled on a bed, thereby providing a similar appearance to a conventional duvet cover.
