Duvet and method
The invention is a duvet and method of operating same, the duvet comprising a base cover and tab sheet, the base cover defines a hollow interior accessible through a resealable aperture that continuously located along a base cover bottom edge that is adjacent to one base cover side edge, the hollow interior further configured to removably receive a quilt or the like and a continuous seam forms the base top edge and adjacent another base cover side edge, the tab sheet that has a pocket portion and base portion, the base portion attaches to the base cover proximate to the base cover bottom edge while the pocket portion forms an open-end pocket having an pocket aperture that opens out upon the base portion, the open-ended pocket being sufficiently constructed to accommodate at least a portion of an operator's hand.
BEDDING WITH PERSONAL FLAPS
Presented herein is an article of bedding, which includes a body portion and a flap portion. The body portion includes a substantially elongated member configured to cover, or be covered by, at least a first portion of each of one or more users' bodies. The flap portion includes at least one other member configured to cover, or be covered by, at least a second portion of each user's body. For example, the flap portion can extend along a top portion of the user's body when the body portion extends along a bottom portion of the user's body. The flap portion defines one or more sets of one or more flaps, which may be selectively wrapped and unwrapped around at least part of the second portion of each user's body.
Patterned comforter
In one aspect, a patterned bedding article, such as a comforter, comprising an outer fabric shell comprising at least a top panel and a bottom panel is provided where the stitching connecting the at least a top panel and a bottom panel results in the generation of an overall non-uniform pattern, where the overall non-uniform pattern creates a plurality of spaces containing a fill material(s), where the spaces are at least a first sized space and a larger second sized space, and where the first sized spaces are located at a first portion of the comforter and the larger second sized spaces are located in a second portion of the comforter. The larger second sized spaces contain more fill material than the first sized spaces, and thus, provide increased warmth in the second portion of the comforter containing the larger second sized spaces, for example, at a central area of the patterned comforter. The first spaces, due to their smaller size, have increased durability as compared to the larger second sized spaces, and thus, provide increased durability in the first portion of the comforter containing the first sized spaces, for example, at the peripheral area of the patterned comforter.
INSULATING FILL MATERIAL
The invention provides an insulating fill material comprising a blend of fibres, the fibres comprising cashmere guard hair. The fill material typically includes at least 50% cashmere guard hair. The blended fibres are preferably formed into a non-woven web, which is lapped to provide a plurality of layers (101). The invention also provides products incorporating the fill material, such as bedding and garments.
Multilayer safety blanket and system
A blanket system for covering a user positioned on a user base platform having a mounting element, the blanket including a first layer a first length (l.sub.1) and a first width (w.sub.1); a second layer having a second length (l.sub.2) and a second width (w.sub.2), the second length being greater than the first length and the second width being greater than the first width; and the blanket adapted to have an operative hanging mode, wherein the first and second layers are attached to one another around a perimeter of the blanket and along at least one internal elongate stretch of the blanket, so as to define at least two pockets formed the first and second layers, wherein, in the operative hanging mode, the at least two pockets each have a depth (D) between the first layer and the second layer, the depth being in the range of 10 cm-30 cm.
3-fabric layer insulation material and a method and an arrangement for producing the same
This invention describes a 3-layer insulation material (10) comprising a first fabric layer (12), a second fabric layer (14) and a third fluted intermediate fabric layer (16) between the first and the second fabric layers (12, 14), the fluted intermediate fabric layer (16) being attached alternately to the first and the second fabric layer (12, 14) with longitudinal seams (18a-18n) forming longitudinal channels (20a-20n) for the insulation material (22) having individual insulation material (22) bundle in-side each longitudinal channel (20a-20n). Also disclosed are a method and an arrangement for producing the same.
Stress relieving attachment for bedsheets, blankets and pillowcases
A bedsheet and/or blanket having a stress relieving squeezable element releasably secured to an edge of a bedsheet, blanket or pillow case for use in achieving stress relief, and thereby promoting restful sleep by squeezing and releasing the squeezable element. In a preferred embodiment the is place in a fabric pocket for releasable attachment to the bedsheet, blanket or pillow case by a flexible strap. The squeezable element is formed from rubber or a polymer gel.
Adjustable duvet insert
A duvet insert includes a plurality of filler compartments for receiving filler material, a first edge including a first number of coupling mechanisms, and a second edge opposing the first edge such that the plurality of filler compartments is positioned between the first edge and the second edge. The second edge includes a second number of coupling mechanisms different than the first number. At least one of the first number of coupling mechanisms or at least one of the second number of coupling mechanisms enables the duvet insert to be coupled to another duvet insert to form a combined duvet insert.
Feather Padded Product and Method for Manufacturing the Same
A down jacket 1 has a face side fabric, a lining and feathers, and in addition, a strip of tape. The strip of tape extends between the face side fabric and the lining along a seam portion and is sewn together with the face side fabric and the lining. The strip of tape has a teaseled portion projecting from a surface of the strip of tape as a trap portion for trapping the feathers accommodated. The teaseled portion is formed on both a side of the strip of tape facing the face side fabric and a side of the strip of tape facing the lining.
