Mattress Cover and Bed Skirt Combination with Storage Pockets
A combination bed sheet and bed skirt with storage pockets. The fitted mattress cover and bed skirt combination can be disposed over top of a mattress. The mattress cover includes a sidewall that contours away from an upper surface thereof to form an enclosure having four corners and an outer edge that can fit over a mattress or box spring. The outer edge defines a channel wherein a bed skirt is received. The bed skirt includes a length that can conceal a space underneath the mattress. The channel includes an elastic band in order to secure both the bed sheet and bed skirt in position. One or more storage pockets are disposed on a lateral side of the sidewall of the cover, wherein the pockets can hold small electronic devices such as remotes, cellphones, and eyeglasses.
SIMULATED PLATFORM BED SYSTEM
A simulated platform bed system is used with a bed having a mattress and a mattress support, typically provided as a box spring and frame supporting the mattress by a spacing above a floor surface. The system includes an exterior aspect with a decorative feature, as well as a base typically defining a single, continuous piece extending along the side edges and the foot end edge of the bed. At least a portion of the base is made of a plurality of vertically-oriented slats connected together. The slats may be located at corner portions or along an entire length of the system. The system covers the spacing to create the appearance of a platform bed upon which the mattress appears to be supported, even though the weight support of the mattress is through the mattress support rather than the system.
Bed Skirt Assembly
A bed skirt assembly for enhancing the ornamental appeal of a bed includes a box spring of a bed and a fitted sheet that is positionable around the box spring. A skirt is attached to the fitted sheet such that the skirt hangs downwardly when the fitted sheet is positioned around the box spring. The skirt is formed into a plurality of ruffles to enhance the ornamental appeal of the box spring when the fitted sheet is positioned around the box spring.
Multi-piece bed skirt
A bed skirt includes a single panel having four sides and made of a coarse woven or non-woven fabric and six panels made of a fine woven fabric. The six panels includes three border panels and three skirt panels. Each border panel is stitched to a respective side of the single panel along border seams. Each skirt panel is stitched to at least one of the three border panels along skirt seams. The skirt seams are configured to align with top edges of a bed base.
Single Seam Combination Bed Sheet and Bed Skirt
A combination fitted bed sheet and bed skirt, whereby a common seam is formed for both the sides of the bed sheet and the bed skirt. That is, the bed sheet has a top side sized for the top of a mattress, four sides sized for respective sides of a mattress, and four sides with elastic which fit under the bottom of the mattress. A seam situated between the top side and the four lateral sides further is the connection point for a bed skirt which is attached on at least two or at least three of the sides. The bed skirt is made of elongated, generally flat material which extends downward or outward from the connection point or seam. This connection point is actually, in embodiments, a line where the top side and lateral sides of the bed sheet, as well as the bed skirt, all meet.
Bed skirt assembly
The present invention comprises an assembly and method for a bed skirt employing a harness and skirting panel(s) adapted for removeable attachment thereto, and includes a cinching mechanism and stabilizing tongue stays to secure the assembly in fixed horizontal alignment.
Sheet skirt
A sheet skirt for a bed having a mattress supported by a box spring comprising a fitted sheet adapted to fit on and around corners and edges of the mattress. A border is sewn to the fitted sheet. A bed skirt is sewn to the border. The border can be tucked in between the mattress and the box spring allowing the bed skirt to hang down about the box spring at a desired length to conceal the box spring.
CHAMBRAY FABRIC, BEDDING ARTICLES, AND RELATED MANUFACTURING METHODS
A woven chambray fabric, including a method and system for forming same includes a plurality of warp yarns, each warp yarn including natural fibers. The woven fabric includes a plurality of weft yarns interwoven with the plurality of warp yarns. Each weft yarn defines a weft yarn assembly that has a first weft yarn, a second weft yarn that extends alongside the first weft yarn, and a plurality of consolidation regions where the first weft yarn and the second weft yarn are coupled to each other. The first weft yarn is a spun staple yarn that includes natural fibers and the second weft yarn is a dyed continuous filament yarn. The second weft yarn is dyed a color that is different from a color of the first weft yarn and each warp yarn so as to define the woven chambray fabric.
MATTRESS COVER AND BED SKIRT SYSTEM
A mattress cover and skirt system includes a skirt configured to be secured to the mattress. The skirt includes a flexible skirt panel defining an upper edge, a lower edge, and an elastic element disposed along at least a portion of the lower edge. The mattress cover system includes a mattress cover panel configured to be removably attached to the skirt. The mattress cover panel includes an upper layer, a lower layer, and a cushioning member disposed between the upper and lower layers. A connector system includes at least one first connector member disposed along the upper edge of the skirt and at least one second connector member disposed proximate the outermost edge of the mattress cover panel. The second connector member is configured to engage the first connector member so as to removably attach the mattress cover panel to the skirt.
System for securing a mattress cover
A mattress cover includes a securing belt about its skirt to aid in engaging and fixing the skirt to a mattress, thereby minimizing the tendency of a skirt to migrate upward on the mattress during use. The belt may be attached to the skirt by means of a sleeve extending the length of the skirt, lacing, belt loop structures, an integrated channel, Velcro or similar devices. The belt may be adjusted by means of a buckle, a knot or other similar devices.
