Sleeping bag with integrated quilt
12285128 · 2025-04-29 ·

The sleeping bag assembly may include a sleeping bag, one or more connecting portions, and a quilt. Advantageously, the quilt may be configured to drape over the top of the sleeping bag and cover the less insulated areas of the sleeping bag. The quilt may be configured to be coupled to the sleeping bag via the one or more connecting portions and the connecting portions may keep the quilt on top of the sleeping bag during use. The quilt may also be sized and configured to form a seal about a portion of the sleeping bag, which may increase heat retention and efficiency of the sleeping bag by covering the areas of the sleeping bag that are more susceptible to heat loss, including but not limited to areas that may lack insulation, where the insulation is compressed, and/or where the insulation is separated.

A sleeping quilt includes an outer layer having an undrawn lateral width extending from a first longitudinal edge to an opposing second longitudinal edge and a drawcord having an undrawn lateral width. The drawcord being fixed to the outer layer at a first point and a second point laterally distal to the first point. Each of the first point and the second point is located a gap distance medially inward from the first longitudinal edge and the second longitudinal edge, respectively. The outer layer has a gatherable portion that is defined between the first point and the second point. A first undrawable portion is defined between the first point and the first longitudinal edge and a second undrawable portion is defined between the second point and the second longitudinal edge.

Foldable bed

A foldable bed includes a first outer panel defining a length and a width, a middle panel hingedly coupled to the first outer panel along an inner edge of the first outer panel, the middle panel defining a length and a width, the middle panel defining a cut-out having a length and a width, and a second outer panel hingedly coupled to the middle panel opposite the first outer panel and along an inner edge of the second outer panel, the second outer panel defining a length and a width. Each of the first outer panel, the middle panel, and the second outer panel includes a rigid substrate with a cushion coupled thereto, and the panels are hingedly coupled by a webbing extending across a lower surface of the foldable bed.

A hammock sleeping bag having a hammock support sheet with a head end, a foot end, a first edge, a second edge, and a transverse mid-point line from the first edge to the second edge at the approximate mid-point between the head end and the foot end, with a head hang strap affixed to the head end and a foot hang strap affixed to the foot end, where the head hang strap and the foot hang strap are configured to enable the hammock support sheet to be suspended between two points, with a top quilt affixed to the first edge, a bottom quilt affixed to the second edge, and where the hammock support sheet, the top quilt, and the bottom quilt are integral to the hammock sleeping bag, with a first closeable zipper enabling a removable closure of the top quilt to the second edge of the support sheet, with a second closeable zipper enabling a removable closure of the bottom quilt to the first edge of the support sheet, where the hammock support sheet has a first measured area and the bottom quilt has a second measured area, and where the bottom quilt has a centerline running from the head end to the foot end, were the second measured area is larger than the second measured area, so that when the hammock support sheet is suspended between two points, and the second closeable zipper is closed, the bottom quilt centerline does not contact the hammock support sheet at the transverse mid-point line, thereby creating an air gap between the hammock support sheet and the bottom quilt, so that when the hammock sleeping bag is in use, the bottom quilt along the centerline is not load-bearing at the air gap.
