PILLOW
A pillow is of a dual-layer structure composed of a relatively soft upper main body and a relatively hard main body. The main body is centrally provided with a central unit that is flanked by two lateral units. The central unit has a raised portion for propping up a user's cervical vertebra so as to make the user's head lean backward, thereby keeping his trachea opening and preventing snoring. Each of the lateral units has a lateral depressed portion. When a user sleeps on his side with his head placed on the pillow, the depressed portion prevents his ear from being pressed and serves to lead his head lean backward. Each of the lateral units has its front edge recessed and provided with an inward inclined portion, for receiving the user's shoulder and preventing discomfort caused by pressure. The pillow thus provides comprehensive support to the user's head.
SUSPENSION PILLOW
Provided is a suspension pillow that, when being used, gives an improved sense of stability and reduces a load applied on a neck and shoulders. A suspension pillow 10 is provided with: a placement part 1; a pair of support parts 3 which stand at a prescribed interval from the placement part 1; a side frame 4 which is disposed between the pair of support parts 3; and a sheet-like pillow part 5, wherein the pillow part 5 is connected, at at least three points or continuously, to the pair of support parts 3 and the side frame 4, and the pillow part 5 is connected, at a position above the pair of support parts 3, to the side frame 4.
DYNAMIC HEADSET APPARATUS
A dynamic headset system is provided. The dynamic headset system includes a head cradle configured to receive a head of a subject and having a bottom surface configured to face a platform on which the dynamic headset apparatus is placed. The dynamic headset system further includes a device including an instrument adjacent to the head of the subject when the head of the subject is in the head cradle.
Headrest Cushion Assembly for Neck Pain
A headrest assembly for a user to recline thereon. The headrest assembly comprises an upper portion for supporting the user's head and a lower portion for supporting the user's upper back. There is a rigid base that supports the upper and lower portions. At the upper portion, there are one or more upper cushions coupled to the rigid base. The upper cushion(s) are configured to support a user's head. At the lower portion, one or more elongated back support(s) are coupled to the rigid base. Also disclosed are methods for using a headrest assembly.
Recumbent sling headrest/leg rest suspension system
A recumbent headrest or leg-rest suspension system comprising a pair of frames which suspends a bridge-like fabric platform that is adjustable for height and concavity. This pillow alternative allows the user to customize the level of support to meet their anatomical alignment needs and comfort, offering adjustability for weight-bearing distribution and shifting of pressure point, in turn, promoting relaxation of local postural muscles and minimizing restlessness. The suspension frame includes: upper and lower base cross support members, clamps and base panel/framework, upper/lower vertical support member(s), an upper horizontal member(s) cantilevered and secured to upper vertical support member(s) or cross support member, a rotatable horizontal member secured to vertical member or between distal ends of the pair of horizontal extension members, and a fabric sling attached to the rotatable horizontal members. Optionally, user actuated control element(s) for adjusting height, concavity and tilt/pitch.
Portable Headrest for the Prone Body Position, for Personal Use and as an Aid to Therapy
A portable headrest which has a forehead support and a chin support and a recess between the forehead support and chin support. The portable headrest can especially be constructed in such a way that the forehead support and/or chin support is/are adjustable in height and/or length. The headrest can optionally include a rounded attachment. Furthermore, the headrest can include at least one camera is arranged in the recess between the forehead support and chin support.
ARTICULATING NECK PILLOW
An articulating neck pillow (100) is provided. The neck pillow (100) may include a pillow portion (102) adapted, in use, to fit at least partially around a user's neck and an articulating frame (104) coupled to the pillow portion (102). The frame (104) may be coupled to the pillow portion (102) such that movement of the frame (104) causes corresponding movement of the pillow portion (102). The frame (104) may include a pair of frame arms (144) pivotably connected together by a hinge (142) to articulate towards and away from each other. A rear end portion (154) of each frame arm (144) may project more rearwardly than the hinge (142) such that when the rear end portions (154) of each frame arm (144) are pressed against a surface (106), the frame arms (144) pivot thereby together towards each other and more closely around and toward the user's neck.
THERAPEUTIC PERCUSSIVE PILLOW
A pillow including a percussion assembly, a padding material, and a pillow cover configured to enclose the percussion assembly and the padding. The percussion assembly is configured to articulate causing the pillow padding and pillow cover to expand and contract.
Pillow Elevating Assembly
A pillow elevating assembly for improving sleep posture includes a base that is positionable on top of a mattress of a bed. A panel is hingedly coupled to the base and the panel is positionable at a variety of angles with respect to the base such that the panel defines an angled support surface for a pillow. A pair of mating members is each attached to the panel for retaining the pillow on the panel. A pair of lifting units is each integrated into the base and each of the lifting units is in mechanical communication with the panel. Each of the lifting units lifts the panel into a desired angle with the base when the lifting units are actuated. A control is attached to the panel for actuating the lifting unit to position the panel at a desired angle.
