Computer pillow stand
A mobile computer such as tablet computer or mobile phone typically lacks built-in structure for standing up on its own. The user must hold it up by hand during use. The present invention is a pillow stand for mobile computers that may be comfortably placed on the lap of a user. It includes an outer shell enclosing a soft filler. A gripping member is positioned on the outer shell for supporting the computer in a backwardly tilting free-standing position. A stabilizing plate is positioned under the outer shell and connected to the gripping member. The stabilizing plate is engaged against the filler to spread the weight of the computer across a large enough area of the soft filler to stably support the computer. The gripping member includes a slot for receiving a lower edge of the computer. An adjusting device connected to the slot is operable to change the width of the slot and thus the tilt and viewing angle of the computer. The pillow stand also lifts the computer higher for reducing neck strain.
SLEEP SYSTEM
A sleep system includes a pair of riser members spaced apart by a predetermined distance. A rigid connective member between the riser members may provide this spacing. A flexible sheet extends between the riser members and may be secured to the riser members by respective clamps that hold the ends of the sheet to the respective riser members. A flexible load-bearing member, such as a sleeve that encloses one or more cushion elements, may be situated atop the flexible sheet to provide support to the user's head and neck at a height selectable by the user adjusting one of, or both of, the clamps on the riser members.
POSITIONALLY STABLE TRAVEL PILLOW
A form fitting travel pillow having a unique shape that provides positional stability in relation to the wearer's shoulders, and further allows for comfortable use of headphones, is disclosed. The travel pillow is formed with upper and lower concave sections such that the lower concave section fits over and conforms to the wearer's shoulders, while the upper concave section is formed such that the wearer can comfortably wear headphones. In one preferred embodiment, the travel pillow may also include a front snap or latching element to assist in maintaining a proper position of the pillow. The travel pillow may be manufactured from memory foam, and may also include a removable cover that can be readily washed or cleaned. In one embodiment, the travel pillow may also include an attached pocket or bag into which the travel pillow may be easily stowed.
Cushion
The present invention discloses a cushion, which includes: a cushion core adopting blasted sponge, the blasted sponge is 20 g/cm.sup.3 to 35 g/cm.sup.3 in density and 10 ppi to 60 ppi in pore diameter; and an outer cover layer wrapping the outer layer of the cushion core; and the outer cover layer adopts a fiber material which is of a reticular structure. The novel cushion designed by the present invention, which adopts the blasted sponge structure that is 20 g/cm.sup.3 to 35 g/cm.sup.3 in density and 10 ppi to 60 ppi in pore diameter, is convenient to wash directly with water and has super air permeability.
CUSHION APPARATUS HAVING A RESILIENT SPRING MEMBER
Embodiments of the invention relate to a cushion apparatus comprising a resilient spring member. Typically, the cushion apparatus in configured to provide flexible support to a user, allow air circulation through and within the cushion apparatus and allow ventilation of excess heat. In some embodiments, the cushion apparatus comprises a resilient spring member and a cushion cover member at least partially enclosing the spring member. In some embodiments, the cushion cover member is structured to be removable attached to the resilient spring member.
Aromatherapy apparatus and housing
The present invention is an apparatus for employing aromatherapy and binaural sounds for inducing a state of relaxation in a user who may be anxious, upset, or experiencing sleeping difficulties. The apparatus comprises a shape memory foam pillow, a pair of stereo speakers, an aromatherapy diffuser, a pillowcase comprised of heat-transfer fabric, an optional vibrating device, a canopy and a housing to support these elements. The user connects a smartphone or digital audio device to the speakers, activates the aromatherapy diffuser and the vibrating device, and lays his or her head down on the pillow beneath the canopy. Ideally, the smartphone or music device should have a meditation or binaural sound application, which would be tuned to a specific beat frequency, such as 10 Hertz. The combined action of essential oil vapors and binaural sounds should enable the user to relax or sleep more soundly.
BREASTFEEDING PILLOW SUPPORT DEVICE
The present disclosure discloses a pliable frame for a pillow. The pliable frame comprises an inner periphery, an outer periphery, a top side, a bottom side, a first pliable arm, a second pliable arm, a pivotal coupling and a tensioning member. The first and second pliable arm has a plurality of first and second rigid members and a plurality of first and second pliable joint coupled to the plurality of first and second rigid members. The pivotal coupling may pivotally couple the first pliable arm and the second pliable arm to provide pivotal movement of the first pliable arm and the second pliable arm along a pivotal axis. The tensioning member is coupled to the first pliable arm and the second pliable arm is proximate to the pivotal coupling to provide tension against the pivotal movement on the first and second pliable arms.
THREE DIMENSIONAL (3D) PRINTED PILLOW
A pillow has a body having a top, a bottom, and a plurality of sides. At least a portion of the body is formed by a 3 dimensional (3D) printed matrix.
Pillow system providing sound suppression
The present disclosure pertains to a pillow system (40), in particular a pillow system that surrounds the subject's head. In some embodiments, the pillow system provides sound suppression. In some embodiments used with positive airways pressure (PAP) systems, the pillow system includes a tube that delivers breathable gas to a mask.
AIR-BAG-LIFTING SLEEP PILLOW STRUCTURE
An air-bag-lifting sleep pillow structure automatically adapts its height to a user's sleep posture using a height control unit. The height control unit includes an air pump, a vent valve, pipes, and a lifting device. The air-bag-lifting sleep pillow structure provides appropriate support to the user's head, thereby helping to improve sleep quality, prevent sleeplessness, and mitigate sleep disorder.
