Small-scale cotton processing
A seed processing system for cottonseeds includes a fluid distribution system configured to sequentially dispense an acid solution, a base solution and a rinse liquid onto the cottonseeds. A seed applicator system defines an interior configured to hold the cottonseeds and receive the acid solution, base solution and rinse liquid dispensed from the fluid distribution system. The seed applicator system includes a rotor configured to agitate the cottonseeds in the interior as the acid solution, base solution and rinse liquid are dispensed onto the cottonseeds to effectuate mixing.

Incline Belt Conveyor with Longitudinal Belt Guards and Methods of Preventing Seed Entering Between the Belt and a Curvilinear Structure
An agricultural incline conveyor having belt guards extending longitudinally through a curvilinear portion from a tail inlet to a head outlet. The belt guards protect linear edges of a belt within the curvilinear portion during mixing operations. A plurality of mixing baffles positioned within the curvilinear portion induce turbulent backflow of a metered stream of seed being transported through the curvilinear portion. The longitudinal guards prevent the loss of transported seed from entering between the belt and a trough of the curvilinear portion.
Rapid Pulse Programming of Seeds Using Unnatural Light Exposure
Rapid pulse programming of a seed, to obtain improved germination probability, and increased root mass, and crop yield, by illuminating the seed with radiation of a wavelength distribution from 300 nm to 20 microns, with a minimum average irradiance of 0.2 Watts/cm.sup.2 and a maximum average irradiance of 7 Watts/cm.sup.2, and having a narrow specific range of cumulative illumination energy from ½ Joules/cm.sup.2 to 3 Joules/cm2 or a higher transition point cumulative illumination energy, so as to specifically engage an irradiance-sensitive and energy-sensitive hidden stimulative exposure response in the seed and so as to avoid illumination of higher cumulative illumination energy that would cause a different and destructive exposure response in the seed. Preferred wavelengths include one or both of Medium Wavelength Infrared (MWIR) radiation and an Indigo Region Illumination Distribution (IRID), which may be applied to an illuminated agricultural planter.
Microorganisms for plant pathogen inhibition
The invention relates to treatment of a plant with one or more microorganisms for inhibiting a plant pathogen. More particularly, the invention relates to isolated Bacillus strains, and strains having all of the identifying characteristics of these strains, and combinations thereof, for a use comprising the above-mentioned use.
METHODS FOR IMPROVING FLORET FERTILITY AND SEED YIELD
This invention relates to compositions and methods for modifying nucleic acids encoding histone demethylase polypeptides that regulate floret fertility, seed number, and/or seed weight in plants.

Mixing and drying conveyor
A conveyor having a conveyance structure, mixing components, belt, and gas manifold. The gas manifold disposed within or on an exterior portion of the structure. The gas manifold having one or more manifold outlet ports to dry, condition, or treat a metered stream of seed within the conveyor. The manifold may be operably connected to a recirculating air system providing the vacuum source and pressurized air source of atmospheric or conditioned air. A filter and vacuum port may extract debris or humidity from the metered stream of seed within the conveyor. A plurality of mixing baffles may be longitudinally spaced apart through the conveyor in a laterally alternating manner to mix the metered stream of seed. The conveyor may be used to transfer, mix, dry, condition and treat the metered stream of seed between multiple stages of treatment.
A METHOD FOR IMPROVING THE MEAN DRY SHOOT WEIGHT, MEAN DRY GRAIN WEIGHT, AND SUPPRESSING SEED-BORNE INFECTION IN A CEREAL CROP
A seed coating composition comprising a mixture of a fungal root endophyte isolated from a root of the plant found in low-nutrient, drought-stressed or multiply-stressed conditions and a carrier medium for application of said composition to a target seed, wherein the endophyte is characterised in having a nuclear ribosomal internal transcribed spacer (nr ITS) with at least a 90% sequence identity to any one of SEQ ID NOs: 3 to 15.
