A combination pillow/blanket and combination pillow/comforter are described. Both combinations include first and second pillow portions that can be detachably coupled together. In the combination pillow/blanket, a first end of the blanket is coupled to the first pillow portion and a second end is coupled to the second pillow portion. When the first and second pillow portions are coupled together, the blanket is positioned within the second pillow portion. When the first and second pillow portions are detached and spaced apart, the blanket extends between the two pillow portions. In the combination pillow/comforter, the comforter is attached to a portion of each of the first and second pillow portions. When the first and second pillow portions are coupled together, the comforter is positioned within the second pillow portion. When the first and second pillow portions are detached from one another, they are spaced apart adjacent opposing ends of the comforter.

A pillow includes a first lobe, a second lobe, and a third lobe extending outwardly from a central node and containing cushioning filling. A closure mechanism extends around perimeter of the first and second lobe. The third lobe is covered by the first and second lobe in a stowed position and not covered in a sleeping position. Portions of the first and second lobe exposed in the stowed position are covered by durable fabric. A Y-shaped inner pillow case may contain the filling and be positioned within the lobes. The filling may include an air bladder with a valve exposed in the stowed position.

Each of the flexible sensors is mounted to a corresponding one of the multiple supporting elements. The controlling unit is electrically connected to the multiple flexible sensors. When a user rests his head on the pillow, the user may press the flexible sensors to control a controlled device such as a speaker or a projector.
