Pillow with Rod-Shaped Insert
A pillow with a removable rod-shaped insert is described herein. The rod-shaped insert is removably insertable into a cavity and/or trough within the pillow. Both the rod-shaped insert and the cavity and/or trough are substantially semi-circular at each vertically oriented cross-section thereof. The cavity includes an opening in a side of the pillow opposite a side thereof which is in contact with a user's head and/or body. The rod-shaped insert has a plurality of parallel ridges on at least one outer surface thereof and extends between both lateral sides of the pillow.
In some configurations, the rod-shaped insert is a single substantially planar structure which is folded into a substantially semi-circular shape. In some configurations, the rod-shaped insert has an internal removably-insertable structure.
MOLDED HYBRID PILLOW
A hybrid pillow includes a cushion material defining a recess. A coil panel is positioned within the recess of the cushion material with the coil panel formed of a plurality of coil springs, an upper fabric layer, and a lower fabric layer. The upper fabric layer and the lower fabric layer are joined between the plurality of coil springs and along peripheral edges of the first coil panel. A gel layer is also positioned within the recess of the cushion material and over the coil panel. A method of manufacturing the pillow includes dispensing a liquid gel in a mold, positioning a coil panel in the mold and on top of the liquid gel, dispensing a foam precursor in the mold, and foaming the foam precursor to form a cushion material that is secured to the coil panel.
HYBRID PILLOW
A hybrid pillow includes a first coil panel and a second coil panel which are joined along peripheral edges to form an inner shell defining a gap therebetween. The first coil panel is formed of a plurality of coil springs, an upper fabric layer, and a lower fabric layer, with the upper fabric layer and the lower fabric layer joined between the plurality of coil springs and along peripheral edges of the first coil panel. The second coil panel is formed of a second plurality of coil springs, a second upper fabric layer, and a second lower fabric layer, with the second upper fabric layer and the second lower fabric layer joined between the plurality of coil springs and along peripheral edges of the second coil panel. A support material disposed in the gap of the inner shell, and one or more additional layers disposed about the inner shell.
Increasing the heat flow of flexible cellular foam through the incorporation of highly thermally-conductive solids
Methods and combinations of mattress support surfaces comprising one or more flexible polyurethane foam layers containing highly thermally-conductive solids, such as diamond or silicon carbide, and said layer combination is capable of transferring heat from a warm surface, such as a person sleeping on a bed, to a cooler region at a faster rate throughout the mattress than the thermal dissipation rate obtained from flexible polyurethane foam without highly thermally-conductive solids.
Pillow Fighting Pillow
The present invention relates to a novel pillow fighting pillow(s) designed to be used for a pillow fighting game. The pillow includes a pocket inside the pillow for storing a plurality of smaller pillows. The smaller or auxiliary pillows are accessed through an opening disposed on a front surface of the pillow, and are used for tossing at other players playing the pillow fighting game. The opening is secured using a fastener such as a hook and loop fastener. The pillow includes a pair of hand slots disposed on an exterior surface of the pillow and the hand slots are used for firmly gripping the pillow and swinging same during the pillow fighting game. The pillow offers optimal fun, entertainment, and convenience while pillow fighting.
Pocket spring unit
A pocket spring unit comprising a plurality of pocket springs each comprising a coil spring and a pocket. Each of the pockets comprise top portion and bottom portions. Each of the pockets are formed from a continuous top piece of fabric attached to a continuous bottom piece of fabric to form a bond having a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of each coil spring. The pocket spring unit further comprises an attachment layer comprising a top portion comprising an inner and outer surface. The pocket spring unit further comprises a plurality of first cushion elements engaged with the outer surface of the top portion of the attachment layer. The inner surface of the top portion of the attachment element is engaged with the top portion of the pockets of the pocket springs such that each of the first cushion elements act only upon one of the pocket springs.
BEDDING COMPONENTS INCLUDING ADDITIVELY MANUFACTURED POLYMERIC LATTICE STRUCTURES
Bedding components and processes for forming the bedding components includes an additive manufacturing process to produce a variable elastomeric lattice structure. The variable elastomeric lattice structure includes variations in strut diameter, cell diameter, strut shape, and combinations thereof. The bedding components include mattresses, pillows, coils, mattress toppers or the like and can also be in the form of inserts to provide different feels in different regions.
Customizable Cushion System
A customizable cushion system is provided. The system includes a flexible outer casing having a closed rear end, a pair of closed lateral edges, and an open front end defining an interior volume therebetween. A plurality of support members are selectively insertable into the interior volume, wherein the plurality of support members comprise a substantially cylindrical structure. Upon insertion into the interior volume, the plurality of support members are in parallel alignment. A closure fastener is disposed on the open front end, wherein the closure fastener selectively closes the front end to enclose the interior volume. In some embodiments, a seam divides the interior volume into a first compartment and a second compartment.
Cushion
A cushion includes a pillow portion, an elongate trunk portion and a scarf. The pillow portion has a front side and a rear side and defines a support surface on the front side which is useable for supporting the head of a user of the cushion. The trunk portion extends away from the pillow portion and has a terminal end which is distal to the pillow portion. The scarf is attached to the pillow portion and/or the trunk portion at a first end portion of the scarf and is engageable, in use, with the trunk portion at a portion of the scarf that is spaced from the first end portion.
Adjustable pillow
An adjustable orthopedic pillow includes a plurality of sections separated by dividers. Each section includes a head support fill chamber, a comfort layer fill chamber, a primary cervical support fill chamber, and a secondary cervical support fill chamber. The primary cervical support fill chamber can be positioned between at least a portion of the head support fill chamber and at least a portion of the comfort layer fill chamber and can an opening at a superior portion of the primary cervical support fill chamber. The secondary cervical support fill chamber can be positioned between at least a portion of the head support fill chamber and at least a portion of primary cervical support fill chamber and can include an opening at an inferior portion of the secondary cervical support fill chamber.
