Embodiments may relate to an air-permeable weight support system, which may include a microclimate fabric layer and an air-permeable capacitive sensor layer below the microclimate fabric layer. The air-permeable capacitive sensor layer may include two air-permeable substrates, each carrying a plurality of electrically conductive pathways that are impermeable to air. The two air-permeable substrates may securely position the electrically conductive pathways to define a sensor grid and position the electrically conductive pathways that are impermeable to air to be spaced apart to define a plurality of air pathways for the air-permeable capacitive sensor layer. The sensor data may be used to determine a sleep state of the person using the weight support system. A computer may identify the poses of the person based on the pressure sensor data. A machine learning model may rely on the poses, the heart rates, the respiration rates to determine the sleep state.

A nursing pillow and case system includes: a main foldable pillow; a removable strap connected to the pillow; vertically aligned handles connected to opposing ends of the pillow; a case consisting of a top and bottom component connected by a mechanical fastener; a foam layer either sown in or placed closed to the top and bottom component of the case; and a horizontally aligned handle connected to the outside of the bottom component of the case.

An orthopedic pillow assembly for promoting a neutral spinal alignment while sleeping includes first and second shells, which define interior and internal spaces, respectively. The second shell is attached to and covers an upper face of the first shell. A block, which comprises viscoelastic polyurethane foam, is positioned in the first shell and occupies the interior space. An arcuate cutout extends into an upper surface and between opposing ends of the block to define a pair of ridges, with each ridge extending along a respective opposing side of the block. A filler is positioned in the second shell and occupies the internal space. The filler comprises shredded elastomeric foam and thus is moldable to the block's upper surface to define a recess. With a head of a user positioned in the recess, a respective ridge supports a neck of the user to promote a neutral spinal alignment while sleeping.

A travel pillow that is configured to be transported in a flat or closed position. The travel pillow has a pillow body that is configured to support an occipital region of a user's head and upper neck in an opened position. The pillow body has a first end and a second end. The pillow body has two wings attached to a back side of the travel pillow. The wings each has a first end that is attached to the travel pillow. The body of each of the wings extends inward along the pillow body. The inner ends of the wings are free from the pillow body. The wings are configured such that the inner ends are bendable outward away from the pillow body. Bending the wings outward from the travel position causes the pillow body to flex and bend into a u-shape. The u-shape is configured to cup a user's head and neck with the wings providing a base or support to the travel pillow.

A modular compartment pillow includes a main body, a plurality of compartments housed in a cavity in the main body, and at least one opening. The opening provides access to at least one compartment.

An adjustable feeding unit for providing support during a feeding activity. The adjustable feeding unit includes a stack of a plurality of positioning elements mounted one over the other such that the positioning elements define a base surface and an angularly raised surface disposed at an angular offset with respect to the base surface. One or more positioning elements are removable from the stack to adjust the angular offset between the base surface and the angularly raised surface.

A cervical assist pillow, comprising, a lower back support portion having a wedge therein to accept a user's upper back and shoulders, an upper neck support portion adjacent the lower back support portion, the upper neck support portion having an extended height to support the users neck proximate a user's head and having a height to elevate the user's neck at a cervicomental angle between approximately 100 and 120 degree, a head support portion adjacent the upper neck support portion and having a concavity to accept the back of the user's head and a waist belt coupled to the lower back support portion at a first end and detachably couple-able to a user's midsection to prevent slippage from under the user's head and neck.

A pillow may include a pillowcase having a first end, a second end opposing the first end, and first and second opposing sides extending between the first end and the second end. The pillowcase also may include first and second end chambers respectively adjacent the first and second ends, a medial chamber between the first and second end chambers, and baffles extending between the first and second opposing sides and defining the first and second end chambers and the medial chamber. The pillow also may include a pillow insert within one of the first and second end chambers, and the medial chamber.

A pillow is described. The pillow includes an elongate outer fabric cover at least partially forming a closed elongate tube with the outer cover. The pillow also includes at least one aperture in the closed elongate tube, the at least one aperture having a selective closure associated therewith. Further, the pillow includes at least one baffle formed within the elongate tube. The at least one baffle is formed of fabric and is coupled to the outer cover at at least three points around the interior of the elongate tube. Further still, the pillow includes a filling material disposed within the elongate tube, the filing material comprises individual pieces of filling material. The filling material is configured with a size that it may bypass the baffle, but not generally freely. The elongate outer fabric and the filling material are configured to be bendable to any of a variety of shapes.

A head position retaining pillow, has a pillow, formed of a soft material adapted to receive head of the user. The pillow has a bottom surface and a first central surface, which forms a first angled surface between the front surface of the pillow and the top surface of the pillow. The angle is 30-40 degrees. First and second end caps, border respectively on first and second sides of the first central surface, and are spaced by a distance which is effective to discourage the user from rolling.
