PILLOW WITH GUSSET OF OPEN CELL CONSTRUCTION
A pillow is provided herein which includes a cover having opposing first and second panels. A gusset perimetrically bounds, and joins, the first and second panels. The gusset is formed of an open cell construction. Compliant fill material is disposed within the cover. Advantageously, with the subject invention, a pillow is provided allowing for lateral ventilation between opposing panels. This permits a cooling effect while a user is resting or sleeping.

Enhanced Thermally Conductive Cushioning Foams by Addition of Metal Materials
Methods and combinations for making and using one or more thermally conductive cellular foam layers and other structures comprising flexible cellular foam and metallic material particulates, and said thermally-conductive cellular foam layers may be located on, under, or in cushioning foams and mattresses or placed between on, under, within, or between other layering substrates, columns, and other structures to increase the overall cooling capability of the composite. The thermally conductive foam may be used in mattresses, pillows, bedding products, seat cushions, medical cushioning foams, pet beds, and similar materials used in bedding and comfort products.
BEDDING ARTICLE WITH MATERIAL TO ABSORB/DESORB MOISTURE AND/OR MOISTURE VAPOR TO ACTIVELY COOL THE ARTICLE AND METHOD OF MAKING AN ARTICLE
A bedding article has a fabric having a substrate having a surface area. The fabric has a polymeric material that absorbs and desorbs moisture and/or moisture vapor that results in a catalytic action to actively cool the substrate or fabric. The material covers about 40% to about 70% of the surface area of the substrate and as present on the substrate is present at 0.5 to 1.0 grams per square meter.
THERAPEUTIC PERCUSSIVE PILLOW
A pillow including a percussion assembly, a padding material, and a pillow cover configured to enclose the percussion assembly and the padding. The percussion assembly is configured to articulate causing the pillow padding and pillow cover to expand and contract.
Automated sleep assistant
Systems, devices, and methods are provided for an automated sleep assistant. An automated sleep assistant may comprise an audio input device for capturing sounds and utterances made by a user while sleeping. Audio data may be collected and analyzed to identify sleep patterns indicative of an adverse sleep-related condition such as Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). A pillow comprising a plurality of regions with one or more sensors, one or more inflatable air bladders, and one or more haptic feedback devices may be utilized. A base unit device physically connected to the pillow may determine one or more external forces that mitigate the adverse sleep-related condition and cause the pillow to apply the one or more external forces to the user, for example, by using a pump to inflate an air bladder to help the user's head lift or tip to a specific angle that opens his or her airway.
FIBERFILL HAVING COOLING EFFECT AND ARTICLES MADE THEROF
A fiberfill that provides a cooling effect, comprising a synthetic filament at least partially coated with a polymeric treatment, wherein the polymeric treatment comprises at least one hydrophilic finish disposed on the synthetic filament.
Sleeping pillows and methods of making sleeping pillows having double inserts
A method of making a pillow includes obtaining a first pillow half having an outer surface and an inner surface having a first cavity formed therein, filling the first cavity with a first filler material, obtaining a second pillow half having an outer surface and an inner surface having a second cavity formed therein, and filling the second cavity with a second filler material. The method includes, after the filling steps, juxtaposing the inner surface of the first pillow half with the inner surface of the second pillow half and joining the first and second pillow halves together to form a pillow.
TWO-SIDED PILLOW
A pillow comprising two sections of generally equal size made of pillow material, each section with a different firmness, where one section forms an upper half of the pillow and the other section forms the lower half of the pillow. Each section has a domed top and a bottom, where the bottoms of each section are joined together. The pillow may include holes extending through or at least partially through the pillow. The two joined sections may further be covered by the covering having a top layer and bottom layer joined together by a gusset.
