A portable mattress seating apparatus attachable to a mattress. The portable mattress seating apparatus clips onto a location on the peripheral of any conventional mattress. The apparatus has a retaining member that is retained under a mattress and above the box spring. The retaining member is attached to a vertical member adjacent to the side of the mattress. The vertical member is attached to another seating member that is oriented parallel to the top of the mattress face. The seat member is attached to a back-rest member. The back-rest member is attached to the seating member distal to the side of the mattress. The back-rest member is adjustable, allowing the back rest to be at acute, obtuse or 90-degree angles to the seating member. Further, the apparatus includes supporting members to spread the weight of a seated person.

A universal pillow for seating on a base surface includes a top surface having a negative parabolic shape or a convex shape relative to the base surface and a bottom surface having a concave shape relative to the base surface. The pillow includes up to five zones I-V, with a center zone I being designed for side sleepers, the two adjacent zones II, III being designed for back sleepers, and the two adjacent, outer zones IV, V being designed for stomach sleepers. The head and neck pillow comprises an open head positioning support area, neck support areas when the user is resting in supine position. The invention further discloses a first side and a second side of the head and neck pillow comprising support areas for the side of the head and neck as well as curved transition surfaces for smooth transitioning of the head and neck of the user from supine or prone to side resting positions. In an embodiment, the invention discloses a head and neck pillow with an open head positioning area, a neck support area and a handle positioned adjacent to the open head positioning area.

In an exemplary embodiment, a body pillow 1 includes: a cushion part 10 of hollow construction made of a transparent and flexible material; leg parts 20 extending downward from the bottom face of the cushion part to create an air flow passage S underneath the bottom face; and affixing means 40 for affixing video playback devices 30 to the bottom face of the cushion part with their video display surfaces 31 facing up. The body pillow has video playback devices provided on the bottom face of a transparent cushion part, so the user can view a video in various postures such as lying face down, face up, or sideways.

A head and neck rest device includes two pillow bodies and two head support blocks. The two pillow bodies each have a first end portion and a second end portion. A neck support strap is connected between two opposing sides of the two pillow bodies. The two head support blocks are coupled to the first end portions of the two pillow bodies. The two head support blocks gradually extend downward from the two opposing sides, respectively. The two pillow bodies and the two head support blocks can fully surround the user's head, and do not abut against the two sides of the user's cheek, so as to avoid the occurrence of temporomandibular arthritis. The head and neck rest device can achieve the purpose of relaxation and rest.

A pillow is provided herein which includes a cover having opposing first and second panels. A gusset perimetrically bounds, and joins, the first and second panels. The gusset is formed of an open cell construction. Compliant fill material is disposed within the cover. Advantageously, with the subject invention, a pillow is provided allowing for lateral ventilation between opposing panels. This permits a cooling effect while a user is resting or sleeping.
