PILLOW SYSTEM
A pillow system for use by a user laying on their back, such as for use after a mastectomy or other surgery. The pillow system provides a cushioning and supportive system. In one particular implementation, the pillow system has two elongate side pillows for placing under and extending from at least a user's shoulders to the user's knees. The two side pillows have an inner edge that includes two concave regions, thus when the two pillows are placed next to or alongside each other, two generally void areas are formed. The pillow system may include a head pillow and/or a support pillow(s), such as a wedge-shaped pillow.

Pillow systems including a base pillow extending from an upper back end to a head end opposite the upper back end along a sagittal midline of a user, a neck support pillow operatively supported on the base pillow between the upper back end and the head end in a position configured to underlie a neck of the user, wherein the base pillow is configured to support a back and a head of the user by underlying at least a portion of the back and at least a portion of the head, and the neck support pillow is configured to support the neck of the user by underlying the neck of the user. In some examples, the pillow system includes a spacer pillow supported on the base pillow between the upper back end and the head end.

System, apparatus, and method for supporting a body
An apparatus for supporting a human body is disclosed. The apparatus has a body assembly configured to support a back of the human body, a head assembly attached to the body assembly via an attachment portion, the head assembly including one or more members forming a recess configured to receive a head of the human body, and a slit disposed between the body assembly and the head assembly, the slit configured to open from a closed position to an open position to provide rotation of the head assembly relative to the body assembly.
Wedge shaped unitary lateral support cushion
Aspects herein relate to a wedge shaped lateral support cushion that facilitates a side resting position for a user. The wedge shaped lateral support cushion in accordance with aspects herein is a unitary structure that is configured to support the head and the upper torso area of the user. In order to provide a proper alignment of the user's body in the side resting position, the wedge shaped lateral support cushion comprises a nook that is configured to receive the shoulder of the user so that the user has full range of motion of the arm that corresponds to the shoulder that is in accommodated in the nook. As such, the user can remain in the side resting position for prolonged periods of time, and can perform activities such as side sleeping, cuddling with a partner, lounging, and the like.
Therapeutic pillow assembly
A therapeutic pillow comprising a body pillow and a tilt pillow. The body pillow may be U-shaped with outwardly curved arms that define a body receiving space. The center or main section of the body pillow has an outer edge along which the tilt pillow is attached at a hinge. The hinge permits the tilt pillow, which may be smaller and fan-shaped, to pivot through a range of positions. The tilt pillow may be folded over onto the top of the body pillow or back under the bottom of the body pillow or to an intermediate angled position anywhere in between. Both the pillows may comprise a pillow insert and a removable cover. A storage pouch may be attached to the body pillow for stowing the folded cover of the tilt pillow when the insert is removed. The body pillow may also have one or more accessory pockets.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR BED REST READING PILLOW
A system and method for a bed rest reading pillow is provided. One embodiment for the bed rest reading pillow comprises a body portion that supports the back of a user in an upright position, a first arm rest extending outwardly from the body portion that is configured to support the arm of the user, a second arm rest extending outwardly from the body portion that is configured to support the arm of the user, a beverage container holder configured to secure a beverage container when placed therein by the user, and a beverage container holder receptacle disposed in the first arm rest and configured to receive the beverage container holder. A beverage container, when inserted into the beverage container holder, is readily accessible by the user.
Head and neck rest device
A head and neck rest device includes two pillow bodies and two head support blocks. The two pillow bodies each have a first end portion and a second end portion. A neck support strap is connected between two opposing sides of the two pillow bodies. The two head support blocks are coupled to the first end portions of the two pillow bodies. The two head support blocks gradually extend downward from the two opposing sides, respectively. The two pillow bodies and the two head support blocks can fully surround the user's head, and do not abut against the two sides of the user's cheek, so as to avoid the occurrence of temporomandibular arthritis. The head and neck rest device can achieve the purpose of relaxation and rest.
