An exterior material excellent in heat insulation, a container, and a combination of the container and exterior material. The exterior material is used by being attached to an outer periphery surface of the container main body included in the container. The exterior material is formed from a blank material including a paper-based material, and includes a plurality of projection portions including base end and tip end portions, the projection portions protruding from a surface facing the outer periphery surface, and at least some of the projection portions include a low-density portion wherein a density of fibers constituting the paper-based material is smaller than that in the base end portion, and form a concealing portion at a position closer to the tip end portion than the low-density portion, the concealing portion extending in the surface direction of the blank material and concealing at least a part of the outer periphery surface.

POLYETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE FOAM PLATE

Plate having a bottom wall having an outer perimeter, an upper surface, and a lower support surface defining a horizontal reference plane. The plate further includes a sidewall extending upwardly and outwardly from the outer perimeter at an angle a of between about 30 to about 35 relative to a vertical axis perpendicular to the horizontal reference plane. Extending laterally outwardly from an upper edge of the sidewall is a rim. Extending downwardly from an outer edge of the rim and terminating at a free end is a turndown flange. The plate comprises a monolithic structure of polyethylene terephthalate foam. Method of forming the plate is also provided.

An eating utensil doubling as a plate and a bowl. A plate has a center, four quadrants, an outer plate edge and an underside. A perforation is formed through the plate extending from the center to the outer edge. Adhesive tape is secured to the underside, the tape including a receiving portion and spanning portion, the spanning portion being of a length substantially equal to the perforation and traveling adjacent to the perforation; and, the receiving portion disposed substantially perpendicular to the spanning portion, wherein upon one of the four quadrants being partially separated from the plate at the perforation to thereby form a quarter piece, the quarter piece can be folded and adhered to the receiving portion such that a cone-like bowl is formed from the plate. An accompanying generally rectangular strip forms the base of the bowl.

A container includes a base panel, a plurality of first folding panel, a plurality of second folding panel and a plurality of fixation folding panel. The first folding panels are folded up inwardly along respective first folding lines between the first folding panels and the base panel to form a peripheral wall and an accommodation chamber. Each second folding panel is folded up outwardly along one respective second folding line and overlapped on the peripheral wall that is formed of the first folding panels. Each fixation folding panel is folded up outwardly along a respective third folding line and overlapped on the peripheral wall that is formed of the first folding panels. Thus, the user can provide foods in the container for eating, and the container can be unfolded to form a plate to holding foods.

CONTAINER HAVING ENHANCED WALL INTEGRITY AND ALIGNMENT ELEMENT
20190039774 · 2019-02-07 ·

A container having enhanced wall integrity and a rotational element is provided that includes a sidewall having polygonal cross-sectional shape and an alignment structure formed therein. The alignment structure is adapted for orienting the container with respect to a second container such that the panel sections of the containers become parallel with one another and the containers may be fully nested one within the other. The alignment structure can be recessed into the sidewall to form peaks and valleys along an inner surface of the container. The peaks include first and second faces sloping in opposite directions designed to direct corners of the first container's sidewall toward the interior valleys of the second container in order to orient the containers as they are stacked.
