A tea bag holder is disclosed for holding a tea bag at a bottom of a tea cup or mug for brewing tea. An example tea bag holder includes a housing having a base portion and a containment area for a tea bag. The example tea bag holder also includes a plurality of leaf shape structures extending between the base portion and a top portion of the housing. The plurality of leaf shape structures form a plurality of slots in a side of the housing. The example tea bag holder also includes at least one permanent opening in the housing for providing the tea bag into and removing the tea bag from the containment area. The example tea bag holder may also include a suction cup on a bottom portion of the base. In use, the housing is positioned in a tea cup or mug to brew tea.

An integrated brewing and drinking utensil comprises a first liquid receiver body, a second liquid receiver body, a connector, a sealing member and a filter. The first liquid receiver body includes a first end and a first open end. The second liquid receiver body includes a second end and a second open end. The connector includes a channel having a first connection end and a second connection end. The first connection end is detachably connected to the first open end, and the second connection end is detachably connected to the second open end. The first connection end is hermetically connected to the connector through the sealing member, and/or the second connection end is hermetically connected to the connector through the sealing member. The filter is provided with a filtering hole. The filter is connected to the connector and is located between the first connection end and the second connection end.

An integrated brewing and drinking utensil comprises a first liquid receiver body, a second liquid receiver body, a connector, a sealing member and a filter. The first liquid receiver body includes a first end and a first open end. The second liquid receiver body includes a second end and a second open end. The connector includes a channel having a first connection end and a second connection end. The first connection end is detachably connected to the first open end, and the second connection end is detachably connected to the second open end. The first connection end is hermetically connected to the connector through the sealing member, and/or the second connection end is hermetically connected to the connector through the sealing member. The filter is provided with a filtering hole. The filter is connected to the connector and is located between the first connection end and the second connection end.

A piston-type extraction apparatus and methods for making and using the same are disclosed. The apparatus includes a cylindrical container with lid and pour spout, a container insert, and plunger element including piston, rod, handle, and filtration chamber. The container insert is designed to catch coffee grounds or other infusible material which may be easily removed from the container when the container is empty or when the extract fluid remains in the container. The filtration chamber is adapted for use with a paper filter. The plunger element may temporarily couple with the insert to allow the insert to be pulled up through the container with the grounds of other infusible material captured between the insert and the plunger element allowing for quick and easy cleanup. The extraction apparatus is adapted for a use in a variety of sizes and may be adapted for manufactured at low cost.

A piston-type extraction apparatus and methods for making and using the same are disclosed. The apparatus includes a cylindrical container with lid and pour spout, a container insert, and plunger element including piston, rod, handle, and filtration chamber. A method for preparing an infusion beverage is disclosed wherein a dried infusion substance is applied in an infusion container, the latter being present, in the first instance, in a collapsed state and being extendable into an expanded state, An infusion liquid is introduced into the infusion container, wherein the infusion container is expanded. The dried infusion substance in the infusion container is kept in contact with the infusion liquid, in order to form the infusion beverage, over a contact period. The infusion container is then returned to its collapsed state, at least in part, by compression and, in the process, at least some of the infusion beverage is expelled from the infusion container.

A method for preparing an infusion beverage is disclosed wherein a dried infusion substance is applied in an infusion container, the latter being present, in the first instance, in a collapsed state and being extendable into an expanded state, An infusion liquid is introduced into the infusion container, wherein the infusion container is expanded. The dried infusion substance in the infusion container is kept in contact with the infusion liquid, in order to form the infusion beverage, over a contact period. The infusion container is then returned to its collapsed state, at least in part, by compression and, in the process, at least some of the infusion beverage is expelled from the infusion container.

An infuser device for use with a beverage drinking container comprises a rigid post extending a length from an attachment point with a lid disposed over a drinking container opening. An infuser container is attached adjacent an end of the post opposite the lid, wherein the infuser container includes a chamber to accommodate a volume of infusant therein. The infusant container may have a rigid or movable body and is removably attached to the post. At least a portion of the infuser container is porous to facilitate passage of liquid into and out of the chamber. An axial position of the post relative to a sidewall of the drinking container remains constant independent of a tilt angle of the drinking container. In an example, the infuser post and infuser container are disposable for use with a disposable beverage drinking container and lid.
