CONTAINER
The present disclosure discloses a container including a lid and a container body connected to the lid, the lid includes a lid body. The lid body is further provided an elastic spout extending away from the lid body and a limiting seat mounted at the top of the lid body; a linking part is mounted on the elastic spout, and a locking part cooperating with the linking part is disposed on the limiting seat; the elastic spout has a folded storage state, and the linking part and the locking part are interlocked with each other in the folded storage state; the elastic spout has a release state in which the linking part is disengaged from the locking part to enable the elastic spout to be unfolded. The assembly and operation of the container is simple. It is easy to use and clean, and the service life of the container may be extended.
Breathe and drink and safely swallow bite valve
A bite valve (100) comprises an outer barrel (105) of low-friction, soft but durable, laterally-compressible material and a rigid axially moveable inner stem (110). Closing the valve urges the distal face of a stem-mounted gasket (115) distally against the sharpened tubular proximal end of a barrel-embedded flanged rigid sleeve (120) through which fluid passes. The stem is continually urged distally by captive compression spring (140) which pushes proximally against sleeve (120) and distally against a cap (135) mounted on the stem's distal end. When a user bites the barrel's indented exterior bite zone (150), two opposing sides of a conical surface (155) inside the barrel contact and slidably urge the stem proximally, pulling the gasket away from the sleeve end, thereby opening the valve. After drinking, a user releases their bite, allowing the spring to again move the stem distally, pushing the gasket back into a (default) sealing condition pressed against the sleeve's sharpened proximal end.
Oral hydration apparatus
Systems, devices, and methods are disclosed for maintaining oral hydration. A device may include a perforated tube, covered by an outer cover made of an absorbent material. The tube may be shaped such that it allows a patient using the device to open and close his or her jaw, without displacement and also to allow other medical devices to be used on the patient simultaneously.
LIP-PUCKER AVOIDING DRINKING STRAW
A lip-pucker avoiding drinking straw providing a tubular body defining an elongated central opening for the flow of liquid without requiring puckering or pursing of the user's lips. The tubular body and elongated opening have a substantially round sectional profile at a distal end meant to be placed into a container of liquid, and a substantially flat-oval sectional profile at a proximal end meant to be placed between the user's lips and to be accommodated by the user's lips without requiring puckering or pursing of the lips. The sectional profile of the elongated opening changes from a round profile at the distal end and through most of the tube body to a flat oval profile at the proximal end segment, with the change of profile occurring at a connecting segment downstream of the proximal end. The sectional area of the elongated opening in the proximal part is greater than the sectional area at the distal part and through most of the tube body, providing an advantageous difference in liquid pressure at the connecting part. An optional bending segment can be provided to provide a bend in the tubular body.
Wireless actuation system for hydration system
A hydration system including a fluid reservoir, a fluid path in communication with the reservoir, and a magnetic quick connect interposed in the fluid path is disclosed. A fluid delivery system for a hydration system is also disclosed that includes a magnetic quick connect interposed in a fluid delivery path of the delivery system. The magnetic quick connect can also be used in a wide variety of fluid delivery systems. A kit for forming a fluid delivery system for a hydration system is also disclosed, as are various components of a hydration system.
Drinking Straw With Rounded Tip
A Straw with a Rounded Tip for a more comfortable and safe straw. The Straw with a Rounded Tip generally includes a rounded tip at either one or both ends of the straw. The invention is the rounded tip portion of the straw. The rounded tip can be either hollow or filled with some substance, including but not limited to the material used in the construction of the body of the straw. The rounded tip can be formed by folding over the body of the straw at the end so that the resulting shape at the end is smooth and rounded. Alternatively, a mass of material may be formed into a rounded shape at the end to create the same effect. The straw can be any length, width, inside or outside diameter, and shape, as long as it has a rounded tip.
Method for at least partially closing a main opening of a drinking straw
The invention relates to a method for closing the ends of a drinking straw (1) on the basis of paper, comprising the following steps: providing a tubular drinking straw (1) on the basis of paper; cutting to size an end region of the drinking straw (1) so that a tongue-shaped portion (4) is formed; reversing the tongue-shaped portion (4) over the opening (3a) of the drinking straw (1) so that two lateral openings (10) are formed; adhesively bonding the tongue-shaped portion (4) with the outer side of the wall (2) of the drinking straw (1).
Oral hydration system
A hydration system comprising: a fluid reservoir comprising a means for reversibly mounting the hydration system to a structure; a supply tube fluidly coupled to the reservoir at its distal end; a reversibly compressible chamber fluidly coupled to the supply tube; a mouthpiece proximate to or at a proximal end of the collapsible chamber; and at least two valves that regulate the flow of fluid through the hydration system, wherein a distal valve is positioned at a distal end of the chamber or along the supply tube and closes in response to compression of the chamber to reduce backflow of fluid into the reservoir during compression, and a proximal valve is positioned at the mouth piece, biased closed for regulating the delivery of fluid out of the mouthpiece and prevents or reduces air induction into the mouthpiece.
Multifunctional universal silicon spout adaptor for drinking vessels
A multi-purpose stretchable insert-mounting lid comprises a stretchable hollow body and a rigid ring member. The stretchable hollow body comprises a top opening, a bottom opening and a flexible sidewall. The flexible sidewall is configured to extend over sidewalls of a receptacle of one or more sizes. The top opening is configured to conform to an outlet of the receptacle. The rigid ring member is fixedly attached to an inner surface of the stretchable hollow body proximal to the top opening of the stretchable hollow body. Further, the rigid ring member is configured to restrain the stretchable hollow body against the receptacle. The rigid ring member comprises attachment elements configured to mount one or more insert elements for dispensing contents of the receptacle via the outlet.
