Apparatus for drinking
An apparatus for drinking featuring a tubular body with an open bottom end and a closed top end, the tubular body formed to provide a lip stabilizer section at or near horizontal and generally parallel to the lips of a user when in use. The apparatus for drinking further comprising a port in the wall of the tubular body located in the lip stabilizer section. When in use, the apparatus for drinking comes in contact with the lips of a user and the user induces suction to the tubular body through the port located in the lip stabilizer section. The suction induces the flow of liquids through the tubular body and through the port and into the mouth of a user. The lip stabilizer section provides a stabilizing effect to the lips of the user minimizing creases or folds in the lips of the user when in use.
ORAL HYDRATION SYSTEM
A hydration system comprising: a fluid reservoir comprising a means for reversibly mounting the hydration system to a structure; a supply tube fluidly coupled to the reservoir at its distal end; a reversibly compressible chamber fluidly coupled to the supply tube; a mouthpiece proximate to or at a proximal end of the collapsible chamber; and at least two valves that regulate the flow of fluid through the hydration system, wherein a distal valve is positioned at a distal end of the chamber or along the supply tube and closes in response to compression of the chamber to reduce backflow of fluid into the reservoir during compression, and a proximal valve is positioned at the mouth piece, biased closed for regulating the delivery of fluid out of the mouthpiece and prevents or reduces air induction into the mouthpiece.
Pillow containing fluid delivery system
A pillow including or adapted to retain a fluid delivery system having at least one fluid reservoir configured to deliver an amount of fluid from at least one reservoir contained within the pillow to the mouth of a user.
FILTERED DRINKING STRAW
A filtered drinking straw for reducing the amount of impurities in an aqueous solution and method for using same. The straw comprises a tube having a passageway containing filtering medium and plugs positioned in the tube to keep the filter medium in the straw. The plugs permit passage of the aqueous solution therethrough but not the passage of the filter medium. A first filter medium comprises granular, activated carbon (GAC) and/or bone char to deodorize and absorb impurities, especially organic matter including nitrates and fluoride. The second filter medium is preferably in the form of fine metal strands formed into a batting. Such strands may be spun or woven from high purity zinc and copper alloy. The first plug is a standard plain plug comprising polyolefin plastics such as polyethylene and polypropylene. The second plug is a carbon plug which could be impregnated with silver. The third plug is made with bactericidal, virucidal and fungicidal material.
CAP APPARATUS FOR A BEVERAGE CONTAINER
An apparatus for a beverage container includes an integrated straw having an upstanding section 8, a spirally wound section 7 and a downwardly depending section 9, wherein the spirally wound section is formed of resilient material. In a collapsed state, the straw is provided substantially within a cap body, the spirally wound section being deployable from the cap body to allow the upstanding section of the straw to move away from the cap body.
HYDRATION SYSTEM AND COMPONENTS THEREOF
A hydration system including a fluid reservoir, a fluid path in communication with the reservoir, and a magnetic quick connect interposed in the fluid path is disclosed. A fluid delivery system for a hydration system is also disclosed that includes a magnetic quick connect interposed in a fluid delivery path of the delivery system. The magnetic quick connect can also be used in a wide variety of fluid delivery systems. A kit for forming a fluid delivery system for a hydration system is also disclosed, as are various components of a hydration system.
MOUTH GUARD HAVING CAVITY ADAPTED FOR THE STORAGE AND RELEASE OF A FLUID
A mouthguard device having a cavity with a volume and functioning as a reservoir for the placement and selective retaining of a fluid. The cavity in fluid coupling with a release mechanism functioning as a valve and adapted for opening through a compressive force applied to the valve through the tongue of a wearer, wherein fluid retained within the cavity can be selectively released on demand.
MAGNETIC QUICK CONNECT FOR FLUID DELIVERY SYSTEM
A hydration system including a fluid reservoir, a fluid path in communication with the reservoir, and a magnetic quick connect interposed in the fluid path is disclosed. A fluid delivery system for a hydration system is also disclosed that includes a magnetic quick connect interposed in a fluid delivery path of the delivery system. The magnetic quick connect can also be used in a wide variety of fluid delivery systems. A kit for forming a fluid delivery system for a hydration system is also disclosed, as are various components of a hydration system.
FLUID CONTROL UNIT
A hydration system including a fluid reservoir, a fluid path in communication with the reservoir, and a magnetic quick connect interposed in the fluid path is disclosed. A fluid delivery system for a hydration system is also disclosed that includes a magnetic quick connect interposed in a fluid delivery path of the delivery system. The magnetic quick connect can also be used in a wide variety of fluid delivery systems. A kit for forming a fluid delivery system for a hydration system is also disclosed, as are various components of a hydration system.
Multifunctional Universal Silicon Spout Adaptor for Drinking Vessels
A multi-purpose stretchable insert-mounting lid comprises a stretchable hollow body and a rigid ring member. The stretchable hollow body comprises a top opening, a bottom opening and a flexible sidewall. The flexible sidewall is configured to extend over sidewalk of a receptacle of one or more sizes. The top opening is configured to conform to an outlet of the receptacle. The rigid ring member is fixedly attached to an inner surface of the stretchable hollow body proximal to the top opening of the stretchable hollow body. Further, the rigid ring member is configured to restrain the stretchable hollow body against the receptacle. The rigid ring member comprises attachment elements configured to mount one or more insert elements for dispensing contents of the receptacle via the outlet.
