Flexible straw and system and method of manufacturing the same
A corrugating machine for forming a flexible paper drinking straw by forming annular corrugations in a tube, including a plurality of corrugating elements and means for moving the tube against the corrugating elements. Each of the corrugating elements is spaced apart from each other in both a lateral direction and a forward direction. The corrugating machine includes an assembly spool and a drum mounted to a side of the assembly spool for rotation about a common axis. A mandrel is mounted to the drum for reciprocation into and out of the spool assembly, to carry the tube against the corrugating elements mounted in an arc defined about the common axis.
DRINKING STRAW AND PACKAGE
There is described a drinking straw for a package being filled with a pourable food product. The drinking straw being configured to be at least partially inserted into a package main body of the package. The drinking straw comprises a tubular main body including a coupling portion extending along a central axis; and a sleeve fitted on and surrounding at least the coupling portion of the tubular main body. The sleeve comprises an abutment portion configured to abut onto an inner surface of the package main body after a partial insertion of the drinking straw into the package main body and during a movement of the drinking straw out of the package main body for impeding and/or hindering and/or blocking a removal and a separation of the drinking straw out of and from the package main body. The abutment portion has a frustoconical shape.
CUP-COVER TYPE FAN AND WATER CUP THEREOF
A cup-cover type fan includes a base, a fan blade assembly positioned on an upper portion of the base, a controlling member and a power supple respectively connected to the fan blade assembly and received in the base. The base includes a cap portion formed on a bottom thereof to cover a rim of a cup. The fan blade assembly includes a fan housing and an impeller installed in the fan housing. The fan housing is rotatably connected with the base by a connecting member to achieve opening and closing between the fan housing and an upper surface of the base via the fan housing foldably rotating along the connecting member to further adjust wind direction of the cup-cover type fan.
REUSABLE EXTENDED STRAW
The disclosure concerns an extended straw that can be used at a distance from a user by persons that have difficulty in bending forward, or in certain venues where movement is difficult, such as movie theaters or stadiums. The extended straw comprises a hard cylindrical straw, a length of flexible tubing, a mouthpiece, and a clip.

Reusable foldable drinking straw in storage case
A reusable drinking straw that is foldable into a compact configuration for storage and easily transportable in a storage case. The straw comprises a rigid external tube and a flexible internal tubing that is foldable to a compact configuration for storage. In a folded configuration, the reusable straw has a significantly reduced length of approximately one-half to one-fourth of its extended length when in use. The external tube of the straw is preferably formed of multiple rigid segments for supporting the flexible internal tubing in the extended configuration during use as a drinking straw. A simple cleaning device is provided to clean the straw after use. A storage case is provided to store the straw in the folded configuration in a compact form and to store the cleaning device.
Drinking vessel with hygienic straw
Described herein are embodiments of systems and apparatuses that include a drinking vessel with a hygienic straw. In an embodiment, the apparatus includes a container and a lid, where the lid is configured to engage an opening of a container to retain the liquid within the container. The lid may further include a drinking straw for use in extracting liquid from the container. The straw may be attached to the lid so that it can be covered, uncovered, and/or otherwise accessed without the need to physically touch the straw itself.
Methods of cleaning a drinking hose (straw)
A personal hydration system is disclosed that includes a reservoir and a drinking hose (drinking straw). The drinking hose is in fluid communication with the reservoir and includes a textured (irregular) inner surface configuration to facilitate cleaning of the drinking hose. In certain embodiments of the disclosure, the drinking hose is configured and provided as a standalone component (product).
DRINKING STRAW DIAPHRAGM
A drinking straw diaphragm is provided. The drinking straw diaphragm may provide a body circumscribing a flow opening fluidly communicative to straw portions on opposing end of the body. The flow opening is defined by opposing first and second edges cut through the body, wherein the first and second edges are biased in an open condition, but selectively movable between the open condition and the closed condition wherein the first and second edges engage, substantially reducing the flow opening in a controllable manner.
