WINE DECANTER PEDESTAL WITH CONTROLLABLY VARIABLE SWIRL MOTION
A wine decanter pedestal system includes a base supported above a surface, the base having a base center axis and a ledge extending outward from its top surface to support a bottom surface of a decanter placed on the top surface. A wireless receiver receives wireless commands from a wireless device to control a rotary motor operably coupled to the base at an attachment point off-center from the base center axis such that rotation of the rotary motor causes the base center axis to orbit about the rotary drive in a circular orbital motion and in a circular spin motion. A weight sensor measures a weight of a decanter placed upon the base, and a controller automatically adjusts the torque of the rotary drive in response to the weight measured by the weight sensor to increase torque for heavier weights measured and decrease torque for lighter weights measured.
Beverage container insulator
A beverage container insulator for accommodating and completely enclosing a beverage container. The insulator has a base element and a cover element, each of which has an interior cavity. The base element and the cover element can be arranged in an assembled state, in which the beverage container is accommodated within the interior cavities, and an interconnected state which couples the base and the cover elements to each other. The cover element includes an insert having an outer diameter that corresponds to an inner diameter of the base element such that when the insert is inserted into the base element, the base element and insert of the cover engage each other with an interference fit.
APPARATUS FOR POURING WINE
The present invention is directed to an apparatus for holding and pouring wine from a wine bottle. The apparatus comprises a body strap with a ring at one end of the body strap. The other end of the body strap passes through the ring forming a loop. The apparatus further comprises a base strap configured to fit around the body of the bottle. The base strap coupled to a thumb ring through a hook. The other open end of the body strap coupled to the thumb ring.
Cooler With Handle Accommodating a Cylindrical Object
The application discloses a cooler for a canned or bottled drink with an attached handle that itself accommodates a cylindrical, semi-cylindrical, or rectilinear object. A cigarette lighter or the like may be stored in the handle.
Retaining member and insulating vessel incorporating same
A retaining member for use with a vacuum-insulated vessel is described. The retaining member includes a frustoconical body, a cylindrical skirt extending from the frustoconical body, and a deformable member extending along an inner surface of the frustoconical body. The deformable member may have multiple layers. An opening extends through the frustonical body, so that the neck of a bottle may pass through the opening. The vacuum-insulated vessel, in combination with the retaining member, may receive and secure bottles having different heights and widths. The retaining member and vacuum-insulated vessel also eliminates condensation from external surfaces of a bottle positioned therein, maintains the initial temperature of the bottle, and allows a user to pour from the bottle without having to remove the bottle from the vessel.
Measuring device for measuring a volume variation of liquid received in a bottle
A measuring device for measuring a volume variation of liquid received in a bottle includes a bottle sleeve and a weight detecting module. A first accommodating space, a second accommodating space and a first opening are formed on the bottle sleeve. The first opening is communicated with the first accommodating space. The bottle sleeve is elastic. An inner diameter of at least one portion of the first accommodating space is less than an outer diameter of the bottle. The bottle sleeve holds the bottle when the bottle is inserted into the first accommodating space via the first opening. The weight detecting module is disposed inside the second accommodating space to measure weights of the bottle and the liquid at different time points and to determine the volume variation of the liquid according to a difference of the weights of the bottle and the liquid at different time points.
ARTICULATED HANDLE FOR A CONTAINER
An articulated handle for a container is described. The articulated handle comprises a collar, a grip, and a securing means. The collar is configured for surrounding a container and comprises an articulated joint for positioning the collar between an open state for receiving the container and a close state for surrounding the container. The articulated joint divides the collar in a first portion and a second portion. The grip projects outwardly from the collar and comprises a first grip portion integrally formed to the first portion of the collar and a second grip portion integrally formed to the second portion of the collar. The first and second grip portions are each configured for comprising a complementary portion. The complementary portions comprise a securing means which connects together the first and second grip portions when the collar is in the close state, thereby securing the articulated handle to the container.
ADJUSTABLE INSULATOR
The invention provides an adjustable insulator for use with a can or bottle of drink, including a substantially planar body having a first end and a second end. The adjustable insulator includes adjustment means associated with the substantially planar body, including a first adjustment means part, associated with the first end of the substantially planar body, and a second adjustment means part, associated with the second end of the substantially planar body. The first and second parts together can adjustably connect so the first adjustment means part and second adjustment means part reciprocally connect in an adjustable manner for use about the can or bottle. The invention also relates to variants thereon and a method of use.
Protective Bottle Enclosure
A bottle enclosure that removably encloses a bottle includes a base having a sidewall that extends from a bottom wall. The base includes at least one thread, and the base bottom wall has a planar bottom surface. A body section of the bottle enclosure includes a cylindrical body wall that includes interior threading adjacent a bottom opening. The body section further includes a tapered shoulder section that is positioned between the body wall and a neck section. The neck section extends upward from the shoulder section and defines a cylindrical neck wall having a neck thread. The body section is configured to threadably and removably engage the base sidewall. The bottle enclosure further includes a removable cap with a sidewall that surrounds a cap cavity. The cap sidewall is configured to threadably and removably engage the neck.
DRINKING RECEPTACLE HOLDER
A drinking receptacle holder comprising a holding portion, the holding portion providing an aperture with a variable size, and a base portion, wherein the drinking receptacle holder is configured so that a drinking receptacle can be received within the aperture of the holding portion with the drinking receptacle resting upon the base portion, wherein the base portion is configured to be pushed away from the holding portion by the drinking receptacle as the drinking receptacle is moved through the aperture of the holding portion, and wherein the holding portion is connected to the base portion such that the size of the aperture is configured to reduce as the base portion is pushed away from the holding portion.
