A spring biased clothes hanger is disclosed. The folding clothes hanger includes a bar hook, a pair of adjustable length shoulder bars and an internal spring or string connectors. The combination of these elements allows the shoulder bars to bend downwardly or horizontally for placing the clothes on the hanger through the neck opening without unbuttoning the garment or stretching the neck elastic band. At least two spring connectors are coupled to the shoulder bars to then form a cross configuration. The spring connectors include clipper members which are then coupled to the bar hook for operation by a user. A user may then apply a squeezing force to the clipper members which then actuate the shoulder bars into a downward position or a compressed horizontal position.

A garment hanger with particular ease of use advantage when removing or hanging crew neck or turtleneck type shirts or blouses. The hanger provides an easily manipulated and intuitive mechanism for collapsing the garment support portions of the hanger, thus allowing for simple passage through the narrow neck hole of a garment. The hanger further provides an easily manipulated and intuitive mechanism for returning the folded garment support portions to their extended and supportive positions, which can be done with the hanger enveloped within a garment, thus providing an improved means for hanging some shirts or blouses without the need to feed a hanger up through the bottom opening of the garment.

A hanger-template for folding and hanging items of clothing, collapsible and articulated, which transforms into a template to facilitate the folding, transport and storage of shirts, T-shirts and other items of clothing. It comprises a flat support (1), attached to the hanging hook (2), and two divergent arms (3) featuring corresponding longitudinal guides (4); two L-shaped extensions (6), each with a short side (61) whose extremity is movable along the corresponding guide (4), and a long side (62) and a base (8) forming the shoulders of the hanger, and which is articulated to the vertices of both extensions (6). It features a folded position wherein the two long sides (62) are aligned or superimposed and the base (8) is next to the support (1), and an extended position wherein the two long sides (62) are disposed parallel and separated by the width of the hanger.

A hanger 2 is provided with: an operating portion 30 provided with a hook 31, a branching portion 32 which is disposed at a base of the hook 31 and which is divided into a fork to the front side and the rear side in a front view, knobs 34 each having an insertion hole 33A in a central part thereof and disposed at lower ends of the branching portion 32, and a pair of projecting portions 35 provided on opposing surfaces of the knobs.

The valet hanger that is the present invention is configured to extend a valet rod perpendicular to a hanger rod and towards the user to provide a convenient stable member on which to hang clothing in an orientation where the fronts or the backs of clothing may be viewed. Said hanger system is also configured to remain in a stable orientation by balancing against a back wall or brace behind said hanger or against a shelf or object directly over a hanger rod used to support the convertible hanger assembly vertically. The components of the convertible valet hanger being adaptable to various closet configurations as well as interchangeable between hanger conformations.

A foldable garment hanger is disclosed which includes a hook which can be folded relative to the garment supporting portion by virtue of a hinge. A size marker is attached to a connecting portion which joins the hook to the garment support portion and includes the hinge. When the size marker straddles the hinge the connecting portion is held rigid thereby fixing the hook relative to the garment support portion. Preferably the size marker is slidable to expose the hinge thereby allowing the hanger to be easily moved between an erect display condition and a folded transportation condition.
