IMPROVEMENT RELATING TO CLOTHES HANGERS
Constituent elements of a clothes hanger comprising one or more planar segments (1, 3) that can be assembled to form a clothes hanger for suspending a garment, the assembly typically involving folding the one or more planar segments and fixing them together, the fixing means (1A, 1B; 2A, 2B; 3A, 3B; 4A, 4B; 5A, 5B, 6A, 6B; 7A, 7B; 8A, 8B) including glue or tabs, wings etc. The clothes hanger may employ planar or tubular grippers hanger tubes for forming or bulking out arms of the hanger, etc. Manufacturing methods are also provided for manufacturing a clothes hanger.
GARMENT DRYING APPARATUS AND METHOD
A garment drying device particularly adapted for drying pants such as jeans, khakis, chinos, shorts, or other types of trousers. The garment drying device includes a spreader bar having a hanger retained thereto and the ends of the spreader bar are provided with arcuate surfaces and spring clips shaped so as to be juxtaposed to the arcuate surfaces for clipping to the opening of the pant legs with the result that the pants are hung to dry in an inverted position, promoting air flow for even drying of the pants, so that the wet weight of the material comprising the pants exerts constant downward force on the pants, minimizing shrinkage of the pants in the vertical dimension.
Garment hanger having under notches
A novel garment hanger with an under-notch is provided. The hanger has a hook and an elongated hanger body connected to the hook. The hanger body has a top surface for supporting a garment and an undersurface opposite the top surface. The hanger body has a retaining structure for retaining a portion of the garment. The retaining structure has a cantilever that extends under the undersurface of the hanger body. An under-notch is defined between the undersurface of the hanger body and the cantilever. A portion of the garment, such as a strap of the garment, is insertable into the under-notch to be positively retained in the under-notch.

Carrier apparatus for garments
A carrier apparatus for supporting a garment includes a hanger having first and second arm elements that project radially outwardly from a central hanging axis and which are connected by a hinged coupling which allows the first and second arm elements to be folded around said central axis or axes parallel to said central hanging axis to thereby substantially overlie one another.

Garment hanger and a spring for use therein
A spring for use in a garment hanger is disclosed. The hanger is of the type that includes a hook and a body with clips at either end of the arms of the body. The clips include a pair of clip portions between which the garment is clamped under the biasing for of a spring. The spring is generally U-shaped and has convex ribs both on the inner and outer services of its curvature. The ribs are located adjacent each other so that they form a sine-wave-like cross-section and are of sufficient depth that in their formation they causes the sides of the spring adjacent the ribs to be drawn inwards.
