Hands free shoehorn
20200245797 · 2020-08-06 ·

A hands free shoehorn is shown and described. The shoehorn includes a guide member for guiding a foot of a user into an opening of a shoe. A handle projects upwardly from the guide member to facilitate insertion and maneuvering of the shoehorn. An entrapment member generally parallel to the guide member captures a heel wall of the shoe between the guide member and the entrapment member in sufficiently close fit to enable the shoehorn to remain coupled to the shoe in an operative position without the shoehorn being held by the user. The user may then slip his or her foot into the shoe with the shoehorn stably mounted on the shoe such that the user need not either hold the shoe horn or balance body weight on one leg while donning the shoe.

SHOE DONNING ASSIST DEVICE
20200196787 · 2020-06-25 ·

A shoe donning device can be formed as an insert that is placed into the shoe and remains inside of the shoe while the user wears the shoe. The device can include a contoured upper portion that defines a hooked region configured for positioning around the top of the shoe heel collar. Extending downward from the contoured upper portion is a neck portion. The neck transitions into a foot plate portion or horizontal base. A lower heel-to-sole transition region between the neck portion and foot plate portion follows the shape of the user's shoe and contours of the user's foot.

Accessorized footwear for preventing a pant leg from entering a shoe includes a shoe. A sheath is positioned in a heelcap of the shoe. The sheath extends from proximate to a heel to proximate to a topline of the shoe so that the sheath substantially bisects the heelcap. A shaft is selectively extensible from the sheath and is configured to extend proximate to an Achilles tendon of a foot that is positioned in the shoe. The shaft is positioned to deflect a bottom of a pant leg from entering a gap between the heelcap and the foot.
