A shoe horn that can be used to lift clothing that would otherwise get in the way when putting on a shoe with a shoe horn. The shoe horn includes: a handle portion having a central axis; a tongue portion having a central axis; an offset transition portion between the handle portion and the tongue portion at which the central axis of the handle portion and the central axis of the tongue portion are offset from one another; and at least one appendage extending outward and upward from a front of the shoe horn at or above the offset transition portion. When using the shoe horn to put on a shoe a user first engages and lifts the lower portion clothing out of the way, then uses the shoe horn to guide a foot into a shoe.

An assembly for assisting a user in putting on footwear having a tongue comprising a shoehorn portion and one or more attachment portions. The shoehorn portion comprises an elongated handle and an engagement member. The engagement member comprises a first surface and one or more shoehorn magnets situated proximate to the first surface. The attachment portions are removably attached to the tongue and comprise a clip and a body portion. The clip is configured to removably attached to the tongue. The body portion is connected to the clip and comprises one or more attachment magnets configured to engage with the shoehorn magnets. The engagement of the attachment magnets to the shoehorn magnets allows the user to manipulate a movement of the tongue.

An assembly for assisting a user in putting on footwear having a tongue comprising a shoehorn portion and one or more attachment portions. A shoe horn and sock removing tool is disclosed. In embodiments, the shoe horn and sock removing tool comprises a handle portion and a shoe horn and sock removing portion. The shoe horn and sock removing portion comprises a main body and a head. The head comprises a first end including a gripping portion and a second end including a curved heel-engaging portion. The head is pivotally connected to the main body and is configured to be pivoted between a locked shoe horn position wherein the gripping portion extends past an end of the main body, and a locked sock removing position wherein the curved heel-engaging portion extends past the end of the main body.
