The apparatus (800) comprises a fetching arrangement (50) arranged to fetch a package (30) including a garment (20) from a storage (40). The apparatus (800) further comprises a garment and package opening arrangement (60) arranged to open the package (30) and thereby the cuff (22) of the garment (20). Furthermore, the apparatus (800) comprises a cuff opening arrangement (600) arranged to receive the opened cuff (22) of the garment (20), and to further open the cuff (22). Thereby, facilitating donning the garment (52) on a part of a human body.
Cuff Frames for Garments
Cuff frames and garments with cuff frames configured to receive an arm, a wrist, and a hand of a wearer. The cuff frames include a wall extending along and radially spaced from a longitudinal axis. The wall defines a wrist portion, a hand portion, and an arm portion. The wrist portion is radially spaced from the longitudinal axis at a first distance to define a wrist opening. The hand portion is longitudinally adjacent to the wrist portion and flares outwards from the wrist portion. The arm portion is longitudinally adjacent to the wrist portion opposite the hand portion and flares outwards from the wrist portion. The first distance is selected to enable the hand and the wrist of the wearer to pass through the wrist opening.
APPARATUS FOR FACILITATING DONNING A GARMENT
The present invention relates to an apparatus (800) arranged for facilitating donning a garment (52) comprising a cuff on a part of a human body. The apparatus (800) comprises a at least one cuff opening arrangement (600, 700) arranged to open a cuff of a garment (52). The at least one cuff opening arrangement (600, 700) comprises a first (100) and a second (200) cuff opening assembly, each comprising a first (110, 210) and a second (120, 220) arm which are arranged to rotate around a first (GA1) and a second (GA2) geometrical axis, respectively. When the first (110, 210) and second (120, 220) arms are inserted into a cuff of the garment (52) and rotated around the first (GA1) and second (GA2) geometrical axes, respectively, the first (110, 210) and second (120, 220) arms are separated such that the cuff of the garment (52) is expanded. Thereby, facilitating donning the garment (52) on a part of a human body.
Disposable garment and donning system
A donning system allows a user to don disposable garments without contaminating the exterior of the garment. The disposable garment is part of a garment package, which also includes a cuff by which the garment is loaded into and dispensed from the donning system. The cuff includes elements whereby multiple garments are simultaneously loaded, but the garments are dispensed and donned one at a time. The donning system can include multiple cartridges allowing the user to don multiple garments simultaneously, such as right and left gloves or shoe covers. The donning system can include multiple chambers allowing the system to dispense garments of different sizes.
Examination glove donning machine
The examination glove donning machine is a mechanical device. The examination glove donning machine is configured for use with one or more hands of a patient. The examination glove donning machine comprises a housing, an elastomeric sheeting, a vacuum pump, and a laser cutting device. The housing contains the elastomeric sheeting, the vacuum pump, and the laser cutting device. The elastomeric sheeting forms a barrier around a hand of the patient. The vacuum pump creates a vacuum that draws the elastomeric sheeting around the hand of the patient. The laser cutting device cuts the elastomeric sheeting as it is drawn against the hand of the patient such that the examination glove is formed while on the hand of the patient. The examination glove donning machine simultaneously dons an examination glove on up to two hands of a patient.
Latex Glove Inflation Assembly
A latex glove inflation assembly includes a housing that is fluidly coupled to a vacuum source for purging the housing of air. The housing has a pair of glove apertures extending into an interior of the housing. A plurality of engagements is each distributed around a respective one of the glove apertures. Each of the engagements engages a wrist opening on a respective pair of latex gloves when the engagements are turned on. The latex gloves are inflated when the housing is purged of air thereby facilitating a user to insert their hands into the gloves. Each of the engagements releases the latex gloves when the engagements are turned off. A release is coupled to the housing and the release facilitates air to fill the housing when the release is turned on thereby facilitating each of the latex gloves to deflate around the user's hands.
Glove remover apparatus
A glove remover apparatus is provided. The glove remover apparatus is especially suitable for the removing of a used medical glove in a sterile manner; however the glove remover apparatus is not limited to removing only medical gloves. The glove remover apparatus may have an extended long handle having a trigger spring at the distal end wherein the trigger spring grasps a glove on the user's hand. Once grasped by the apparatus, the used glove may be safely removed without a user needing to actually touch the glove.
GLOVE DONNING SYSTEM
A glove donning system including glove assemblies is provided that maintains the cleanliness of a glove until the glove is utilized. In addition, the glove donning system assists a user during a donning process thereby preventing contamination of the glove during the donning process. A glove packaging system is provided that includes glove assemblies, each assembly including a glove and a glove insert card, housed within a glove assembly holder. The glove assembly holder is configured to fit within a container of the glove packaging system or the glove donning system.
Glove dispensing cartridge, dispensing apparatus and method for use thereof
A cartridge for receiving a plurality of adjacent, aligned, disposable gloves is described, the cartridge comprising a base; and a first element being arranged in use for alignment of the finger portions of the plurality of gloves. Furthermore, a machine arranged for dispensing a disposable glove is described, the machine comprising: an articulated arm arranged in use for contacting and retaining a first part of the glove and for moving said glove from a first position in which the glove is located in a cartridge containing one or more gloves, to a second position in which a second part of the said glove is able to be contacted with and retained by an anchoring means to open the cuff to allow a user to don the glove.
Glove and a method of manufacturing a glove
A ring-shaped member is arranged for engaging with an opening of a glove to form a circumferential trough around the opening of the glove. A glove and a method of manufacturing a glove comprise a conical collar forming a circumferential trough around the opening of the glove and where the collar comprises such ring-shaped member. The ring-shaped member comprises a first annular portion of a conical shape, a second annular portion of a conical shape, and a central annular portion in between the first and the second annular portions. The ring-shaped member is foldable about the central portion to attain a folded configuration wherein the second annular portion is folded down to lie essentially alongside the first annular portion.
