Robotic glove donning machine
There is provided a glove donning device that includes (a) a hollow tube having an annular opening, (b) a vacuum head configured to acquire a glove having an opening, (c) a pair of hooks, (d) a first transporter configured to move the vacuum head and the glove towards the pair of hooks so that the pair of hooks is inserted into the opening of the glove, (e) a hook actuator configured to move the pair of hooks apart after the pair of hooks is inserted in the opening of the glove, and (f) a second transporter configured to (i) move the pair of hooks and the glove towards the hollow tube, and (ii) move the pair of hooks to position the glove opening over the annular opening of the hollow tube.
DEVICE FOR TAKING A GLOVE ON AND OFF, AND A GLOVE
A device for aiding in taking on and off a glove of an elastic material from a hand of a user. The opening of the glove is reinforced by a flexible collar. The device includes a container with an opening for receiving the glove and hand, and with a circumferential rim for supporting the collar such that the container and glove inserted into the container form a closed compartment. The container has a bellow to change the volume and pressure within the container. A vent in the container is opened by the hand from within the compartment for removing any under pressure when the container volume is increased, such that the hand inserted in a glove can be easily withdrawn from the compartment. A method of manufacturing a glove for use in such device is also provided.
GLOVE DISPENSING SYSTEMS AND METHODS THEREOF
A disposable glove apparatus. A cartridge of disposable gloves can be configured and mounted for presentation to a user. A user's hands in proximity to an open portion of a glove causes a gas flow to inflate a pair of gloves. A user can insert hands into the open gloves and remove them, thereby donning gloves in an easy and sanitary manner.
Device adapted to facilitate insertion of a hand into a glove
A device adapted to facilitate insertion of a hand into a glove is provided. The device may include a body portion and a handle portion. The body portion may be generally hand-shaped, and include a palm portion and a plurality of digit portions adapted to accommodate the palm and finger portions, respectively, of a user's hand. The plurality of digit portions may provide concave grooves for slidably guiding the fingers of the user's hand. After the device has been partially slid into an inner portion of a predetermined glove, wherein the plurality of digit portions are at least partially received within the respective finger holes of the glove, the user's fingers may ride along the concaved grooves of the plurality of digit portions, guiding the user's fingers into the proper finger holes of the glove.
Glove inverter
The present invention is a device that provides an expeditious method to invert or turn inside-out and to reform or turn back to the proper side glove appendages, which consists of a base that has numerous openings, one of which accepts a guide. The guide is defined as an asymmetrical cylinder having two (2) opposing ends. One end has a concave configuration and above and adjacent to the other end are a couple of grooves that circumscribe the guide with a couple of flexible elements fitted therein. The latter end is fitted into one of the openings in the base, to be securely mounted therein without using threaded means.
Device for taking a glove on and off, and a glove
The invention relates to a device for aiding in the taking on and off a glove of an elastic material from a hand of a user, wherein the opening of the glove is reinforced by a flexible collar, the device comprising. The device according to the invention comprises a container with an opening for receiving the glove and the hand, and with a circumferential rim for supporting the collar of the glove such that the container and the glove inserted into the container form a closed compartment. The container comprises means such as a bellow to change the volume of the container and thereby of the pressure within the container. Further, a vent is placed in the container such as to be opened by the hand from within the compartment for removing any under pressure when the container volume is increased, such that the hand inserted in a glove can be easily withdrawn from the compartment. The invention further relates to method of manufacturing a glove for use in such device, the method involving placing a flexible collar around the wrist of a hand model prior to dip moulding the glove. When pulling off the glove from the hand mode, turning the glove except the opening with the collar inside out, the collar forms an outwardly folded down border on the finished glove.
GLOVE CARTIDGE ASSEMBLIES FOR TOUCHLESS GLOVE APPLICATION SYSTEMS
A glove application system includes a glove application module providing a housing that defines an install cavity and an access aperture providing access into the install cavity, a pressure system operable to generate negative pressure in the install cavity, and a glove cartridge assembly mounted to the housing and including a cartridge belt having a plurality of glove cartridges spaced along the cartridge belt, each glove cartridge having a glove releasably secured to the cartridge belt with a fastening system that includes a raised section protruding from the cartridge belt and defining an internal aperture, and a lip laterally protruding from the raised section and sized to receive a wrist bead of the glove, wherein negative pressure generated by the pressure system causes the glove of an aligned glove cartridge to inflate into the install cavity.

Wearable protective articles donning system
An automated, manual or semi-automated donning system may be used to mechanically don wearable protective articles, such as gloves, without human contact with the outer surface of the wearable article. Thus, the system can be used to render wearable protective articles less capable of transferring disease organisms. In the donning system, a vacuum device can prepare a donning article for use in the donning system by inflating the article using negative pressure to the article's outer surface. Packaging of the wearable protective article may maintain sterility of the article and allow preparation of the article for donning without human contact. In addition, wearable protective articles used in the system may be subject to treatments to destroy potential pathogens. Alternatively, or in addition, a body part of the user may be subject to treatments to destroy potential pathogens during insertion into a wearable protective article prepared for donning by the system.
Glove Dispensing Apparatus and Glove Cartridge for use Therewith and Glove Dispensing Method
An apparatus for dispensing a disposable glove and applying it to the hand of a user in which a stream of air drawn into an enclosed glove applying chamber through a constricted opening aligned with the heel of the glove inflates the topmost glove in a stack of gloves in the chamber so that a user can readily insert his hand into the glove. After the user has donned the glove on the hand, a wall of the chamber is opened to permit the user to readily withdraw his hand from the glove applying chamber while the air flow which originally inflated the top-most glove is disrupted. Upon closures of the chamber wall, the re-established air flow automatically inflates the next lower glove in the glove stack to prepare the next glove for receipt of another hand. The apparatus alternatively or in addition includes a glove removal chamber arranged to remove a glove from a gloved hand using a stream of air drawn into the glove removal chamber.
