Suspended sleeve assembly comprising a compression sleeve and a suspension stand
A suspended sleeve assembly includes a suspension stand and a compression sleeve. An upper portion of the compression sleeve is attached onto the suspension stand, but a lower portion of the compression sleeve is unattached from the suspension stand. The suspended sleeve assembly can also include a support stand. The suspended sleeve assembly can be used to shape a prosthetic socket. The compression sleeve applies a circumferential pressure onto the prosthetic socket as the prosthetic socket is being inserted into the compression sleeve as a patient steps into the compression sleeve and applies at least a portion of body weight to the compression sleeve. The prosthetic socket can be heated and shaped by hand, so that it fits the residual limb of the patient. The suspended sleeve assembly can also be used to shape other prosthetic components, such as a negative plaster cast.
DEVICE FOR SOCK PLACEMENT OVER AND REMOVAL FROM A FOOT OF A USER
A multi-functional device comprises a device body defined by a first wall that includes a first inner face and a first outer face, a second wall that includes a second inner face and a second outer face, and a third wall that includes a third inner face and a third outer face. The second wall is connected to and extends from the first wall at a first interface on a first lateral side of the first wall. The third wall is connected to and extends from the first wall at a second interface on a second lateral side of the first wall. The multi-functional device comprises a hook arranged on the device body configured to facilitate removal of a sock from a foot of a user, and a plurality of ridges arranged on the device body configured to facilitate placement of a sock over a foot of a user.
DONNING AND DOFFING AID FOR A SUPPORT STOCKING
A donning and doffing aid is used for donning and doffing a stocking, in particular a compression stocking. The donning and doffing aid comprises a support element (1) which is adapted in such a way that the stocking can be spanned on it in a tubular manner. Furthermore, the donning and doffing aid has at least one protrusion (4) on which the stocking (6) can be spanned for doffing.
Collapsible footwear tool
A multi-use footwear tool that has an attachment mechanism with two complementary pieces that can be separated to split the multi-use footwear tool into two sections. A first section of the multi-use footwear tool is an elongated shoehorn and a second section of the multi-use footwear tool is an elongated body. The elongated shoehorn has a shoehorn and the elongated body has a hook. The elongated shoehorn and the elongated body can be attached into one long multi-use footwear tool or separated into individual pieces using the attachment mechanism.
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR APPLYING COMPRESSION SOCKS TO FEET
Devices and methods for assisting a user to don and remove a compression sock from the user's leg. The device includes a base, at least two side members secured to the base on opposite sides thereof, and multiple arms extending from the base in a direction along the longitudinal axis and between the side members. Each of the arms has a midpoint that curves inward toward the longitudinal axis of the device, and terminates at a distal end. The arms in combination form a composite shape that has a midportion that curves inward toward a longitudinal axis of the device to define a neck, defines an interior that is surrounded by the midportions of the arms and within which the longitudinal axis of the device is disposed, and defines an opening surrounded by the distal ends of the arms.
Apparatus for assisting with the application of a garment
An apparatus for assisting with the application of a garment. The apparatus may be embodied as an apparatus for assisting with the application of a tubular garment, such as a bandage or sock, including compression bandages, compression socks, support bandages and support socks, or may be embodied as a tubular garment application tool. The apparatus comprises two substantially parallel spaced-apart elongate arms and is reconfigurable between a first configuration in which the elongate arms are substantially coplanar and a second configuration in which the elongate arms substantially oppose, or at least partly face, each other.
Device for wearing socks, and method of using such device
An apparatus for donning socks includes: a substantially horizontal base; an elongated U-shaped, semi-cylindrical caddy on which a sock positioned inside out is fittable and into an interior of which a foot is insertable; and a tilt unit coupled to the semi-cylindrical caddy and pivotally connected to a head portion of the base. The semi-cylindrical caddy includes two elongated slider channels, that allow a handle assembly of the apparatus to slide back-and-forth within the elongated slider channels. The handle assembly includes a telescopic right-side rod and a generally-parallel telescopic left-side rod, which are interconnected by a generally-horizontal fixed-size bridge handle.
Dressing aid
A dressing aid may include a main arm having a proximal end and a distal end, at least one (preferably at least two) proximal arm extending from the main arm proximal end, the proximal arm(s) having a distal end attached to the main arm proximal end and a proximal end attached to a proximal clip, and at least one (preferably at least two) distal arm extending from the main arm distal end, the distal arm(s) having a proximal end attached to the main arm distal end and a distal end attached to a distal clip. The proximal and distal arms may further comprise a hook. The proximal, distal and main arms are preferably formed of a bendable but rigid tubular material.
