PROTECTIVE MAT AND METHOD FOR PROTECTING A FLOOR FROM SPILLAGE AND DEBRIS
The present disclosure provides a protective mat and a method for protecting a floor from spillage, debris and/or scratches. The protective mat may also provide other advantages such as impact resistance and/or reduction of foot/leg fatigue. The protective mat includes a web of extruded polymer monofilaments. The protective mat may further include a membrane. The membrane may be made of a liquid impermeable material. The method includes overlaying a portion of a floor with the protective mat.
Washable Multi-Component Magnetic Floor Mat
This invention relates to a washable multi-component magnetic floor mat. The floor mat contains a textile component and a base component. The textile component and the base component are attached to one another by magnetic attraction. The magnetic attraction is provided by incorporation of magnetic particles in both the textile and base components. The textile component is designed to be soiled, washed, and re-used, thereby providing ideal end-use applications in areas such as building entryways. The present invention eliminates the need to wash the base component of the floor mat which results in environmental, cost and labor conservation. ARTICLE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING ODORS FROM ODORIFEROUS NITROGEN-CONTAINING COMPOUNDS
An article includes a surface adapted for presence in an environment containing odoriferous nitrogen-containing compounds, a bonding agent, and bacilli bacteria. A method for binding bacilli to a surface is also disclosed. First, the surface is provided. The surface is then heated and placed under pressure. Then, the bacilli and a bonding agent may be applied to the surface, either alone or as a pre-mixed composition. The pre-mixed composition may be in the form of an aqueous dispersion. A method for controlling odors from odoriferous nitrogen-containing compounds is also disclosed. The method includes applying bacilli bacteria to a surface and placing the surface in an area likely to include odoriferous nitrogen-containing compounds.

The present invention relates to a novel one-piece bathroom rug or floor covering designed to accommodate the floor area near fixtures in a bathroom. The bathroom rug features a toilet rug portion for covering surface area in front of a toilet bowl, a shower rug portion for covering surface area in front of the shower or tub and a sink basin rug portion for covering surface area below and in front of a sink. The toilet rug portion includes a cut-out contoured to a toilet base and adapted to receive therein the toilet base. The bathroom rug is a multi-layered structure and absorbs water, increases comfort and safety, and improves the overall aesthetic of a bathroom.

A floor mat includes a mat main body. The mat main body includes a first mat body, a first connecting portion and a second mat body. The first connecting portion is provided with a concave first crease portion. The second mat body is connected to the first mat body through the first connecting portion. The second mat body can be moved between an unfolded position and a folded position along the first crease portion. When the second mat body is moved along the first crease portion to the folded position, the second mat body and the first mat body are stacked with each other. When a user needs to pave a floor with the mat main body, the second mat body and the first mat body can be moved to the unfolded position to unfold the mat main body for pavement and protect the floor from being scratched.
