Stowable and deployable rug
Embodiments of the present disclosure include an absorbent, storable, low-profile, non-slip, quick drying rug that is stored in an upright position against a wall or tub when the rug is not being used for drying, so as to maintain the rug's cleanliness and enhance its quick-drying capabilities. Also disclosed is a method for using an absorbent, storable, low-profile, non-slip, quick drying rug.
Suction apparatus
An apparatus may include a first layer that includes a plurality of inlets and a surface feature; a second layer, where the surface feature opposes the second layer; an outlet, and a pattern defined on at least one of the first layer and the second layer, where the pattern defines a suction path from each inlet of the plurality of inlets to the outlet.
Apparatus and Kit for Floor Protection
The present disclosure provides a novel design for an apparatus for protecting a floor, the apparatus comprising a plastic plate, a cushioning element, and a sliding element. Both the cushioning elements and sliding elements can be detachably coupled to opposing sides of the plastic plate via adhesive layers. The apparatus can thus take different forms for either sliding or resting furniture legs and casters over both carpeted floors and hard floors. The plastic plate is shaped with a raised lip so as to prevent contact with the floor even when the deformable sliding and cushioning elements are crushed by the heavy weight of furniture. The raised lip is formed so as to form a retaining wall about the concave receiving area where furniture legs may be placed when it is used as a caster. Also provided herein is a kit comprising multiple plastic plates, cushioning elements, and sliding elements, which a user can combine as they see fit for different functions.
GLASS CHAIR MAT AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
A glass chair mat having a substantially planar sheet of tempered glass. The tempered glass has a thickness of between ⅛ to 1 inch, and an area of the glass chair mat is selected to cover an area that is greater than an area between the legs of the office chair, such that all legs of the office chair can rest upon the glass chair mat at the same time. The glass chair may further includes a printed layer disposed over at least part of the glass chair mat. In one embodiment, the glass chair mat of includes a printed layer that is formed by digital UV printing. In another embodiment, the glass chair mat of includes a printed layer that is formed by digital ceramic printing.
FLOOR MAT WITH IMPROVED RIGIDITY AND NON-SLIP BACKING
A floor mat with improved rigidity and non-slip surfaces is disclosed. The floor mat includes a bottom surface with an interior cavity that has within it a plurality of interior walls that intersect with one another, thereby increasing rigidity of the floor mat. The floor mat also includes a plurality of nubs at the intersections of the interior walls that increase friction with the flooring of an automobile, thereby improving the non-slip characteristics of the floor mat.
VEHICLE FLOOR SILENCER WITH WALL SUPPORT ELEMENT
A vehicle floor silencer includes a base portion and a flange formed along an edge of the base portion. The flange includes a step, a wall extending from the step, and at least one wall support element extending from the wall to the step and structured to prevent at least an associated portion of the wall from deflecting in a direction toward an end of the step. The wall support is structured to prevent deflection of the wall along an edge of the floor silencer.
Floor Mat with Hidden Base Component
This invention relates to a washable multi-component magnetic floor mat with a hidden base component. The floor mat contains a textile component and a base component. The textile component and the base component are attached to one another by magnetic attraction. The magnetic attraction is provided by incorporation of magnetic particles in both the textile and base components. The textile component is designed to be soiled, washed, and re-used, thereby providing ideal end-use applications in areas such as building entryways. The present invention eliminates the need to wash the base component of the floor mat which results in environmental, cost and labor conservation. Alignment and deployment of the textile component with the base component in an efficient manner is also described herein.
Installation of multi-component floor mat
This invention relates to installation methods for a multi-component floor mat. The floor mat typically contains a textile component and a base component. Alignment and deployment of the textile component with the base component in an efficient manner is described herein.
Heated floor mat assembly
A floor mat assembly for use on a floor comprises a floor mat, a first adhesive layer, a heating element, a second adhesive layer, and an insulative foam support layer. The floor mat comprises a topside for interaction with a person. The heating element is bonded to an underside of the floor mat with the first adhesive layer to heat the floor mat. The foam support layer is bonded to an underside of the heating element with the second adhesive layer.
