A vehicular-themed ornamental mailbox includes a storage compartment, a lid, a speaker module, a first ornamentation, a second ornamentation, a third ornamentation, and a fourth ornamentation. The storage compartment includes a top panel, a rear panel, a bottom panel, a left panel, and a right panel thus completing an internal storage area. The lid is hingedly connected to the bottom panel so that the storage area can be closed. The speaker module is connected to the storage compartment and provides a specific sound effect when the lid is opened. The first ornamentation is removably mounted to the top panel. The second ornamentation is removably mounted to the left panel. The third ornamentation is removably mounted to the right panel. The fourth ornamentation is removably mounted to the lid. This invention involves a novel method, device, system and apparatus to receive return or exchange goods and services at one's doorstep securely. The invention involves a novel security apparatus and a parcel receptacle. The security apparatus is connectable to any fixture, including to one or more parcel receptacles. The parcel receptacles can be of many types. The parcel receptacles can be secured via a physical cable and a security apparatus, or secured via connectivity to the wireless network of a parcel recipient. The parcel receptacles can also be secured via a novel GPS module, accelerometer and other technological devices inside parcel receptacle. The locking mechanism in the security apparatus and/or on the parcel receptacle can be of technological in nature using the latest advancements in wireless technology, or alternatively, involve simple physical lock and key mechanisms. The apparatus allows access to parcels to authenticated users only, and involve many safety features including an audible alarm and other tamper-proof mechanisms to ensure safety of parcels.

An ecologically sound and environmentally friendly mailbox apparatus comprising a traditional mailbox; a shredding device affixed to the underside of the mailbox; a hollow tube, having a first end and a second end; a hollow receptacle for collecting shredded material, and that is connected to the shredding device by way of the hollow tube, where the first end of the hollow tube is connected to the shredding device and the second end of the hollow tube is directed downward and is connected to the receptacle; and a vertically positioned pole located adjacent to the mailbox and the receptacle, whereby the mailbox and the receptacle are individually connected to the pole by a fastening means that holds the entire apparatus together. This apparatus allows an end user to shred junk mail before leaving his mailbox and prevent clutter in his home.
