Present embodiments relate to a revolving mailbox cluster and central package delivery system. More specifically, without limitation, present embodiments relate to a revolving mailbox cluster that includes: substantially circular layers stacked vertically, where a second layer sits atop a first layer, and wherein each substantially circular layers includes: vertically opposed bottom top plates, divider plates perpendicular to the bottom and top plates, and a center ring, where the bottom and top plates, dividers, and center ring define individual mailbox units, each of which has an opening disposed opposite the center ring; a first motor for moving the substantially circular layers vertically; and a second motor for rotating the substantially circular layers.

A specially designed package receiving device configured to facilitate automatic receipt and notification of packages while preventing unauthorized ingress and egress there-through. The package receiving device includes a frame affixed to an existing support surface, an access panel pivotally coupled to the frame and being selectively rotated along clockwise and counterclockwise directions, a handle affixed to an upper exterior section of the access panel, a plurality of slats pivotally affixed to an interior side of the frame, a box for mail pivotally coupled to the interior side of the upper panel, and a dampening mechanism for providing greater resistive force against rotation of the access panel in the clockwise direction and less resistive force against rotation of the access panel in the counterclockwise direction.

A specially designed package receiving device configured to facilitate automatic receipt and notification of packages while preventing unauthorized ingress and egress there-through. A secure package receptacle for receiving a package. The receptacle comprises a storage area to receive the package. The storage area adopts at least the following statuses: free, in which the storage area is accessible and ready to receive the package; locked, in which the storage area is inaccessible; and reset, in which the storage area is accessible and ready to retrieve the package. A change in status of the storage area is determined based the current status and on the sensing of the opening and closing of a lockable door providing or preventing access to the storage area.

A mailbox and control system thereof includes a mailbox, and flip door provided thereon; a second drop slot is provided on the flip door, inside the mailbox is provided storage cavity for parcel storage; the flip door can be swung and open the storage cavity, wherein: on top of the storage cavity is provided a drop bucket, which is connected to the flip door by a transmission device, and by swinging the flip door it is possible to drive the drop bucket above the storage cavity. In the present invention, existing fixed drop slot structure is changed and by the swingable flip door, parcels can be put into the storage cavity by swinging the flip door until parcels are allowed in, meanwhile, the storage cavity is covered when the drop bucket is driven by the transmission mechanism, to limit parcels in, improve mailing safety.

A mailbox comprises a box body with a door having a lock, a mailbox unlocking code input device for inputting an unlocking code to unlock the mailbox, a communication module for communicating with a remote management terminal, a storage at the mailbox or the remote management terminal for storing one or more preset mailbox unlocking codes, and a processor at the mailbox or the remote management terminal for identifying whether the input mailbox unlocking code matches the one or more preset mailbox unlocking codes, and issuing a mailbox unlocking instruction if matching. The processor comprises a mailbox unlocking code management circuit used to invalidate the matched mailbox unlocking code after the mailbox is unlocked, generate a new mailbox unlocking code when no valid mailbox unlocking code is currently available, and store the new mailbox unlocking code in the storage. The mailbox can safely, conveniently and automatically receive and/or send mail.

Items can be delivered to a receptacle at a curb, mailbox, post, or porch. Features include communication systems between the station and drone; security; hot and cold temperature control and preservation of the goods before and after delivery; battery charging and exchange station; a collector to identify explosive materials, anthrax, etc.; ultraviolet system to eradicate disease, virus and harmful materials; an ozone applicator to eradicate disease, virus and harmful materials; weather monitoring; tag and track of vehicles and packages; facial recognition camera and software for pets and humans; and local two-way speakers; LED lights that strobe flash, and a flood light.

An apparatus comprising: a retaining device for retaining planar items including mail and/or documents, in which mail can be located and from which mail can be collected; a control means; a sensor means for indicating to the control means information indicative of mail and/or documents having been placed in the retaining device and/or removed from the retaining device, wherein the control means is arranged to cause, in response thereto, at least one action to be performed.
