It comprises a container 101 for accommodating at least one package, an openable lid 102 attached to the container 101, a closing mechanism for closing the container 101, and a locking mechanism for locking the closed container 101. The closing mechanism comprises a pressure plate 103 at a base of the container 101, a string 105 connecting the pressure plate 103 with the lid, and at least one pull spring 106 between the lid 102 and the container 101, and the locking mechanism comprises a flexible rod 104 beneath the pressure plate 103 and directly connected to the pressure plate 103, a slider 109 connected to the flexible rod, and a hole 110 in the lid, wherein the hole 110 is adapted to accommodate insertion of the flexible rod 104 therein.

A package securing device configured to secure temperature sensitive packages, is disclosed. The device includes a plurality of panels configured to form an enclosure for receiving one or more packages. The device includes a set of scissor retractors configured to extend and retract the plurality of panels. The device includes a locking handle positioned across the width of the enclosure, connecting the set of scissor retractors and configured to lock the scissor retractors in one or more extended positions relative to the shape of the received one or more package. The device includes a retractable cover configured to cover the enclosure relative to the size of the enclosure as formed by the scissor retractors.

A delivery lockbox assembly includes a lock box which has a recess to accommodate a foundation of a building. The lock box has a front entry which is positioned outside of the building to facilitate a parcel to be delivered into the lock box. The lock box has a back entry which is positioned within the building thereby facilitating the back entry to be accessible to an occupant of the building for retrieving the parcel. A locking unit is integrated into the front entry inhibit the parcel from is removed from the lock box by an unauthorized person. the locking unit has an access unit is integrated into the locking unit wherein the access unit is configured to be manipulated by the delivery person. The locking unit is in remote communication with a personal electronic device to alert the occupant that the parcel has been delivered into the lock box.
