Ice control and enhancement techniques for beverages
Systems, devices and methods for enhancing the experience of chilled beverages are provided. In some embodiments, a set of holding structures, weights and/or magnets associated with a drinking vessel applies holding force(s) to ice within a drinking vessel. In some embodiments, a beverage is then poured over the ice, at least partially submerging it and chilling the beverage. In some method embodiments, suction-molds with customized shapes and designs are used as the water is frozen within the drinking vessel, creating ice sculptures affixed to the inside of the drinking vessel. In other aspects, holding pressure is maintained even if the frozen water partially melts. In some embodiments, a control system within weights or the drinking vessel implements lighting effects, cooling effects, and gas or other infusions, into the beverage.
Closure and lid and method of forming closure and lid
An example lid assembly may include a lid and a slider. The slider may be configured to move between a closed position where the slider covers a container opening to aid in preventing spilling of contents of the container and an opened position where the slider uncovers the opening such that the contents of the container may be released. The slider may include at least one slider positioning magnet and at least one lid positioning magnet that may be configured to lock the slider in the closed position and lock the slider in the opened position. The magnets may have a length and a width that are equal to each other.
Multi-piece stemware
In a general aspect, a multi-piece vessel can include a body defining an interior volume, and a base. The body can include a closed end, and an open end opposite the closed end. The base can have a foot arranged in a plane. The base can include a stem arranged along a longitudinal axis that is orthogonal to the plane, and a first magnetic element disposed at an end of the stem. The multi-piece vessel can also include an attachment assembly coupled with the closed end of the body, the attachment assembly having a second magnetic element configured to form a magnetic coupling with the first magnetic element, and a retention feature defined on a surface of the attachment assembly distal from the body.
Closure and lid and method of forming closure and lid
An example lid assembly can include a lid and a slider. The lid can include a wall defining a recess. The slider can be configured to slide in the recess and can be configured to move between a closed position where the slider covers the opening to aid in preventing spilling of contents of the container and an opened position where the slider uncovers the opening such that the contents of the container can be consumed. The slider can be configured to be removable from the lid and can be replaced back on the lid. Additionally, the slider can be configured to lock into place on the recess in both the closed position and the opened position.
Hook for adjusting versatile widths
A hook for adjusting versatile widths has a body and a gasket. The body has a base and a hook body. The hook body is disposed on the base. The gasket has a hole and a plurality of protruding structures. The protruding structures are disposed around the hole. The different thicknesses of the protruding structures correspond to the different peripheral positions of the hole. The hook body penetrates through the hole of the gasket, and the gasket is able to rotate on the hook body.
MODULAR PHOTOGRAPH DISPLAY SYSTEM
A modular photograph display system is provided. The display system can include one of more modular illuminated photograph display assemblies including a frame, base, and a post therebetween. The frame can include a frame back, illumination panel, photograph matte, window, clip assemblies, and cover. The clip assemblies can secure the window and matte against the frame back, such that a photograph can be inserted therebetween, and can magnetically secure the cover to the frame back. The base can include an LED driver and a controller for controlling one or more illumination panels. The bases of two or more modular photograph display assemblies can be coupled together to form an assembly of display assemblies. Additional frames and posts can added on top of the frames of the modular display assemblies to further increase the number of photographs that can be displayed.
A MAGNETIC FLOOR MAT MOUNTING APPARATUS AND METHOD
An improved apparatus for reversibly securing a floor mat, and related methods. The apparatus of the present invention utilizes embedded or attached magnetic materials in the floor mat and the floor to provide an improved method of securing a floor mat to the ground. The system operates under magnetic coupling alone, preventing twisting, rotating or lifting of a floor mat, while allowing easy removal of the mat with no needed clean up or degraded attachment function.
Heavy duty detachable beverage and phone holder and associated systems and methods
The disclosed apparatus, systems and methods relate to a durable, magnetic cup holder having one or more magnets disposed in a housing, such as a metal or steel housing. The magnetic cup holder can have more than one opening or lumen, so as to be configured to house both a drink and a mobile phone.
Coupling for a drinking straw
A coupling including a first elongate member and a second elongate member. The first elongate member includes a first tube and a first magnet. The first tube has a first end and a second end. The first magnet secures to the first end of the first tube. The second elongate member includes a second tube and a second magnet. The second tube has a first end and a second end. The second magnet secures to the first end of the second tube. The first and second magnets are cooperatively configured to attract one another and secure the first end of the first tube to the first end of the second tube.
CONTAINER APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USING SAME
A container apparatus can receive and hold a beverage container such as a beverage can or bottle. The apparatus can include a light assembly and can be used as a flashlight. A magnet can be positioned on the outer surface of the apparatus, and the apparatus can be magnetically attached to a metal support structure, such as a metal post or table.
