CAKE COVERING ASSEMBLY
A cake covering assembly for protecting a cake from bodily fluids from people gathered around the cake includes a cover is positionable over a cake. The cover is comprised of a fluid impermeable material to inhibit bodily fluids from being deposited on the cake. The cover has a plurality of apertures for insertably receiving candles. A plurality of cups is provided and each of the cups is coupled to the cover. Each of the cups is aligned with a respective one of the apertures. Moreover, each of the cups receives the candle in the respective aperture to inhibit the candle in the respective aperture from contacting the cake.
Cake Protection and Simulated Decoration Apparatus
A cake protection and simulated decoration apparatus includes a base member having opposed bottom and top surfaces parallel having planar configurations, respectively, and being separated by a peripheral edge. The apparatus includes a body member having at least one side wall defining an interior area and is movable between a deployed configuration coupled to the top surface of the base member and a removed configuration displaced from the top surface, the body member defining an open top and an open bottom. A lid includes a planar top wall having a lip extending perpendicularly away from a peripheral edge of the top wall, the lip defining a diameter complementary to a diameter defined by an upper edge of the body member for releasably receiving the upper edge in a friction fit engagement. The lid is constructed of a metal material for operably receiving and adhering the magnetic decorations thereto.
Artificial Celebration Cakes
Artificial Celebration Cakes are artificial cakes that are used to celebrate the life of the deceased. The cakes are artificial, but they are crafted to appear as if they are covered in buttercream, or fondant, like a traditional or custom designed cake. They are created by attaching one or more foam parts and attaching it to a vase insert, or temporary vase. This combination is meant to keep the artificial cake stable by allowing the cake to sit directly on the vase, while the vase insert is placed directly into the vase to prevent it from being blown over. The artificial cake can also be supported by a temporary vase when an affixed vase is not available, this will keep the artificial cake from being placed directly on the ground.
Disposable cake protector
A free-standing disposable cake protector with a plurality of extendable foldable legs, a transparent top panel and a flexible transparent side wall. The top panel includes sockets capable of accepting birthday candles. The extension legs can be extended or retracted to accommodate the height of the cake being protected. The foldable legs with the fixedly attached side panel provide means to transport and store the cake protector in compact flat configuration. The cake protector provides protection from candle wax and from exposure to saliva expelled by a person blowing candles out when the cake protector is in unfolded configuration.
Cake protector assembly and kit
A kit for constructing a cake-protecting assembly, including at least two first elongated frame members, at least two second elongated frame members connectable to the pair of first elongated frame members to yield a frame defining a working plane, at least two leg members pivotably connected to each respective elongated first frame member, and at least two elongated stabilizing members connectable to extend orthogonally from a leg member connected to each respective elongated support member and oriented parallel to the working plane. The kit also includes four pegs connectible to the elongated first frame members for limiting the movement of each respective leg member.
Protective Cake Shield and Candle Support
A cake shield for a cake. The cake shield includes a plate and at least one leg attached thereto. The plate can be constructed in various adaptations and includes a number of flexible insertion holes configured to hold candles without compromising the continuity of the plate. The plate may also be configured for attachment to an interchangeable decorative surface having insertion holes. The legs can adjust the height of the cake shield relative to a surface of the cake, which allows for placement of the cake shield on cakes with varying shapes and dimensions, and can also be folded for storage of the cake shield between uses. During use, the cake shield is configured to protect the cake from damage and exposure to germs by an individual using candles as part of a celebratory event.
Protective Cake Cover
A protective cover for shielding a cake or other food item from surface contamination. The protective cover is constructed from a nonporous material and is transparent for easily viewing the interior contents. An enclosure body includes a top attached to a sidewall and is open at the bottom. A plurality of candle wells penetrate an exterior surface of the top but do not penetrate through the interior surface forming holes or slots configured to retain candles. The protective cover is customizable and easily decontaminated after use. The enclosure body prevents dripping wax or germs from blowing out the candles from contaminating the cake surface while still allowing the celebrant to blow out candles with the cake still protected but visible.
CAKE CONTAINERS
The invention relates to a portable container 10 for transporting a cake. The portable container comprises a container base 12 defining a support surface 22 for supporting a cake thereon. The portable container also comprises at least one container section 14. Each container section 14 is open at a top and at a bottom and defines a space which is enclosed by sides of the container section. The portable container further comprises a cover 18 defining a recess. The container base 12 and the container section 14 are releasably attached to each other whereby a lower part of a cake supported on the support surface is received in the space defined by the container section when the container base and the container section are attached to each other. The support surface 22 bounded by the sides of the container section 14 lies substantially in a single plane. The container section 14 and the cover 18 are releasably attached to each other whereby an upper part of the cake supported on the support surface 22 is received in the recess defined by the cover when the container section and the cover are attached to each other.
Disposable cake protector
A disposable cake protector with a main frame, a plurality of foldable legs, a plurality of extension legs, a top panel and a flexible side wall. The top panel is rigid and transparent and has a C shaped perimeter configuration capable of snapping onto the main frame. The top panel includes sockets capable of accepting birthday candles. The foldable legs are hollow and have a C shaped top portion that allows them to be rotationally connected to the main frame. The extension legs each slidably fit within each the hollow leg. The flexible side wall is attached to the inner wall of each the foldable leg so that when the foldable legs are unfolded the flexible side wall unfolds to match the side wall of the cake that it is protecting. The extension legs can be extended or retracted to accommodate the height of the cake being protected.
